pliability: mobility+recovery

My hope is that this app would be able to aid in mobility and recovery following a series of injuries in the last 10 years. The app didn’t quite fit my needs. I cancelled the subscription but the cancellation was not received and the app was taking a fair amount of money monthly. After four months, I happened to check my bank statement to see the unexpected withdrawal. I contacted Pliability via their message function, chatting to ‘Seth’ in the hope of an understanding reply and a simiar process to the refund process of App Store, only to be told tough luck - it’s in our policy and you don’t get a refund. In asking they check my Pliabilty account, which would confirm I have not been using their service, I was ignored point blank - no reply. Support Pliability only if you wish to support an organisation that does not put the customer first. I wanted to give zero stars but had to give one to submit this review.

Took money from my account despite never giving permission or using the app. Refuse to refund

I’m used to using apps where a coach has a personality. Sadly the voice over was dull and didn’t engage me. Perhaps not an issue to others! However this is why I deleted the app almost straight away. The design and concept great! Hope this feedback helps.

I rarely leave reviews, but when an app truly stands out, it's worth sharing. Pliability has been a game-changer for me. After struggling with chronic tension in my shoulders and neck for a long time, I tried everything from sports therapy to regular massages. While they offered temporary relief, the pain always returned within hours. However, after just four weeks of consistently using Pliability—dedicating about 20 minutes a day to the guided stretches—I noticed a significant reduction in my discomfort. The difference has been incredible. To truly experience the benefits, consistency is key, but the results are well worth it. The app is user-friendly, the content is soothing, and while it took me a little time to build the habit, I now look forward to the routines. Thank you, Pliability, for helping me finally find lasting relief!

Save your money and learn the stretches yourself. Extremely repetitive and after using the platform for a few months I deleted the account only to be charged the next year and refused a refund because I didn’t cancel the subscription?! Not sure how deleting the account doesn’t cancel a subscription.

It’s a nice app but VERY expensive considering it’s just videos of stretching. I have other fitness apps that do a lot more and release content more often but charge less. I can’t justify the cost

The app is great but ultimately not worth the cost in my opinion, plenty of YouTube videos out there with the same information, the only benefit here is it’s all a single program but then you could easily create a YouTube playlist.

SCAM! DO NOT sign up for the free trial! I cancelled my subscription and these guys charged me anyway. I requested a refund and they put me on hold for three hours (“we will be back online in 3 hours” - absolute rubbish, I’ve never seen anything like that before, they’re just hoping you get bored and go away), then if you try to cancel your subscription in the meantime they have designed it so it deletes your entire account (and also therefore you lose access to the refund process!). Really malicious marketing tactics, and honestly the app itself is really basic with exercises that you could get easily on YouTube.

I have been using this app for a couple months. I am really enjoying using it, I initially purchased it as I was going through a knee injury and was looking for a quicker healing process, however after getting to know the app I have found that following a full body routine consistently week in, week out it has had tremendous benefits.

Firstly, in terms of user experience, I’m not a fan of the app’s design and layout. Personally, I find the exercises either do nothing or are way too much for a beginner, there doesn’t seem to be much in between. It also seems to be advertised heavily at the moment, but I feel this app needs way more work done on it before they start charging for the service. Not good value at all. You can get the same type of videos from YouTube. Would not recommend paying for this.
