Prologue

Just about the perfect audiobook app. However,, if you rewind to a previous chapter, it won't reset the chapter you left, and will jump back to that last place in the chapter when you progress to thatbchapter. The developer has stopped responding to email support and left this bug unfixed for over a year. Could be perfect if they would fix this bug

I've spent hundreds to thousands of hours listening to books on Prologue–had maybe a couple of hiccups at most. Looks great, works well, works with my existing library ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great app that just works and has great features. Don’t forget to tip the developer. They earned it with this app.

The overall app is quite good. But then you need to pay for the watch app and syncing between the watch and phone is quite hit and miss. Sucks to start a run and find out your watch is one hour behind the phone, and the phone isn’t with you. The sync feature helps a little, but I find around 50% of the time I head out with just my watch that they are not in sync. And sometimes if I use the phone after using the watch, it’s not in sync either. At this point, the watch functionality shouldn’t be an in app purchase - it doesn’t do the basics.

Only 2 apps on the hundreds I own I would say are perfect and this is one of them. Everything from the slight rewind when starting the book a few days later to a few seconds when Waze decides to chirp. Dev should work for Apple, this is an app done not just right, but perfect.

I love this. I’ve got an archive of audiobooks on my NAS but had no way to play them because the default Plex apps are not at all designed for audiobooks. Prologue is the perfect remedy.

I love the iPhone app but watch app is not working properly. Every time I open the app on Apple Watch, it resets the download removing the previously downloaded content. Until this works, watch app is not usable. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Long time user of this awesome app. I use it with both the iPhone and CarPlay daily and it does what it does extremely well. Developer is also super friends and responsive whenever small issues do come up. Can’t say enough good things about this app.

Best app for this I’ve found so far. Could still use some tweaks. - Keep the app small, efficient, stable & streamlined. That’s key! Avoid Sluggish Bloat. - As for features, it actually is pretty good! Can’t think of anything that I want it to do at the moment that it doesn’t. - Maybe create a script plugin section. That will allow individuals to add special code that’s not distributed with the app to enable playing of Audible AAX files. Add the code to enable these files for people who know how, add your own personal file decryption key. Then play the files without having to download and screw around stripping drm just to get it to work. It’s not about sharing or hurting authors ability to make money by file sharing. It’s about not having to be stuck using a terrible clunky app bloated from Audible to listen to a library of works you actually purchased.
