quip: Oral Care Companion

Love my quip but the app isn’t great. It’s correctly loading every time I brush but none of the other data seems to load (strokes, coverage,etc) and just permanently says calculating at top.

It is easy to use, battery life is great at 3 months and the toothbrush itself is phenomenal with the great little things like the built-in tongue scraper, vibrating alerts, etc

The app logged me out. When I logged back in my points are gone and I can’t sync my toothbrush. 😡

I was expecting this to be so easy. First i did log in however it wouldn’t let me pair my sunset sonic toothbrush. I wasn’t sure if it was just a brush that wasn’t bluetooth please let me know if it’s not. But then i logged out because i thought maybe it would help to try to reset it. When i try to log back in and type my email the continue button doesn’t light up and it won’t let me in. So now i have no way of getting back into my account. Let alone the app being so confusing. It’s so hard to find that AI chat center where i can ask questions and get a quick response.

The recent update removed support for syncing your brush data with Health. This is a huge regression in features and a big reason I initially chose Quip.

I liked the older version better. It never keeps accurate track since I updated

This update is so awful I’d give it 0 stars but since I can’t do that it’s stuck getting 1 star. And there are a few reasons why. 1) You shouldn’t have to forget the brush and start the process all over again for it to maybe now work properly. 2) How do you know when the brush is dead? When it stops in the middle of brushing your teeth? When it won’t turn on? How is that effective in tracking, which is the main point of the app. I’m not gonna wait until it’s charged to brush my teeth. That’s just silly. 3) This one is a personal thing but I’m sure it applies to others. I was saving up all my points for the refresh bag. I got to 9000 points when you all decided it’d be a fantastic idea to change the entire system. And now the only 2 options are a FIVE dollar e-gift card to target or quip. So generous of you all to help cover tax and/or shipping! I want the old app back. Please and thank you!
