RealSelf: Treatments & Reviews

This is absolutely great community platform which helps patients and doctors connect in 1 realm. I got to choose the best doctor from this community and now am helping others by sharing my experience on it.

Really thanks to this app and site designer. It really clears all doubt that we have regarding our hair and skin related issue. But at last i have one feedback to the realself. Plz add a option that we can reply to the comment that doctor had given to us.

The intent of this app is good, the execution is poor. The app is glitchy and doesn’t work in an intuitive way. Saved procedures disappear each time you open the app. Reviews can’t be sorted newer to oldest. Finding photos for procedures and honest reviews is difficult. App needs better filtering capabilities, better memory of saved procedures. I also hate how someone at real self titles your reviews. so weird.

I don’t know if you guys need to make some adjustments to the software but the app doesn’t load at all when I try to look up procedures with doctors near me. Please update asap.

It won’t let me create a user name. Every name I tried I got either “invalid login “ or “user name taken.” Wound up deleting the ap. Waste of time

Error messages when trying to use Apple or Google to log in to the app. Frustrating and a waste of time.

This is not an app to trust. Reviews can be removed by Dr request. Do not decide on a surgeon based on this app. My review was removed when a surgeon lied and said I wrote the review for a refund. I actually did not accept a refund because I was told I had to remove my review. I sent the documents to Real Self. They said they “didn’t want to get in the middle” and refused to allow my review. My review did not violate terms of service.

This app is not working well at all now, it’s all glitchy, only loads two reviews, click button to show more reviews, it opens the same two reviews, ads are interfering with content. Get rid of ads and fix the bugs. Zero stars if I could. NEEDS A MODERATOR TO SEPARATE PLANTED REVIEWS VS AUTHENTIC REVIEWS

I love the concept and still frequently use the app. Although it’s nearly impossible to use the screen locks then you have to swipe out and completely restart your research. I’ve had the app for almost a year and have consistently used it and there has been no improvements.

I can’t go even a few minutes without it crashing.
