Royal Roads Chapter 3

I'd give it 3 stars because Level 3 was impossible without the meta buildings upgrades, which was introduced too late and was impossible to find. Without the upgrades, Level 3 and beyond literally could NOT be completed with ANY stars. I had to dig and dig online to find an answer. Finally I discovered upgrading meta buildings. The game itself doesn't tell you about the buildings until well AFTER level 3!! Even then, it's in such a bizarre place:  buried under the gear, and called "meta buildings"!! No normal gameplayer would think that means upgrades.  Also, a gear is a universal icon for settings. Burying upgrades there that are necessary to enjoy -- let alone complete -- the game makes no sense. It's all a terrible UX choice that I believe will cost the game good reviews.  There's even a review in the Apple App store that doesn't say this directly, but the author is so frustrated with certain elements of gameplay that point directly to them not having upgraded anything. I assume they probably missed the directions on how to upgrade meta buildings. Or they were stuck on a level before it was even introduced. Given that it's nearly impossible to discover how to do it on one's own if you missed the direction, I will again reiterate that it came faaaar too late into gameplay. Extremely frustrating. 

Level 50 glitches so you can’t complete the entire game at all. Will this ever be fixed?

So game over all is good but the last level freezes so you can’t win. Also level 11 you can’t even click on it. You have people spending money but then the game doesn’t work.

this game was SUPER fun for the first 20ish levels until your success depends on the random items that show up on the temples/idols. SO BORING just sitting there waiting until the right item pops up - and all of the stars disappear. SO glad I didn't pay for this. UGH!

This is a decent time management game but as other reviewers have said, the elf just gets stuck running on the last objective for level 50. Kind of disappointing to not be able to finish game after spending all that time and effort on a game! You can buy the game however without any issues.

I had no trouble purchasing this game, played all levels with no problem. Level 50 cannot be completed or the portal destroyed. The game was fun. 5 stars if level 50 is fixed.

Still cant purchase! 8Floor quality is a wash out. What happened to you?

Why can’t I buy this game instead of watching ads? Come on developer, answer the question.

I’d rather purchase the game than watch a bunch of ads (worse, it’s the same few ads over & over!). Why can’t we?

I had to watch multiple ads to get through all 50 levels…only to discover that there’s a glitch, and you can’t destroy the portal in level 50. Meaning YOU CAN’T WIN THE GAME!!! I spent a lot of time on this and now can’t win? Terrible.
