Couldn’t recommend more for runners looking to stay injury free!
I am so happy that I found this app. I ran a marathon on a slightly strained calf and ended up with a super strained calf. My progress was slow at first but has steadily improved. I am recommending this app to all of my running friends! A couple of pieces of feedback: 1. I wish that I could rearrange the workouts within a week with a bit more flexibility. For example, if I know I’ll be pressed for time so I want to do a fundamental workout one day early, but skip one of the optional workouts. I cannot access the future workout until that day arrives. 2. I wish that I could go back and edit my response to the question about whether the workout increased my injury symptoms within 24 hours. I usually mark it right after finishing the workout but then the next day if I feel discomfort I wish that was editable. Overall this app has been a true lifesaver during this time as it has provided me with hope that I will get back to running again and a sense of accomplishment in all the baby steps along the way. Super appreciate the detailed written instructions and video for each exercise. Thank you!!!!
Enjoying so far
I strained my calf in October and was lost on how to rehab it. I tried on my own for a couple weeks and didn't feel like I made any progress. I found Exakt by searching for rehab solutions. I just finished the calf strain program and I'm now back to running at full strength/speed. I recommend Exakt to anyone that needs guidance for rehabbing injuries. I used it while it was free but it would absolutely be worth the cost!
I think it is tastefully done. So much good for free.
I have been doing the physio exercises only 3 days and notice a difference already . I have had sharp shooting tendon pain from my kneecap , occasionally down the front of my shinbone and upper foot , for about 2 months causing weakness in one leg . Caused by a vigorous exercise routine, which I had to completely stop .
I am starting week 3 of the meniscus tear rehab plan and this app works! Great organization. Clear instructions and videos. Program tailors to my feedback. I am looking forward to my rehab days and a return to running. Paul D.
The hardest part of rehab is sticking to the plan and making those minor adjustments based on pain. This app makes the process so easy! Thrilled to have used this for 12 days now, getting stronger and on the path to full recovery.
The app. has many workout plans to rehab your injury. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was for my knee injury!
