SecureAuth Authenticate is a modern mobile app that verifies your identity so you can securely access your apps. SecureAuth Authenticate supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for personal, work, or school apps and accounts. The authenticator generates 6-digit one-time passcodes/tokens (OTP codes) used commonly in two-factor authentication (2FA) flows.

SecureAuth Authenticate Отзывы Пользователей
I mostly hate the new update
This auto updated over the weekend. I like that now the passcode number is turn red when a few seconds are remaining.
What I absolutely can’t stand is that in the old version, passcodes were grouped into group into three or four numbers. Easy to look at, easy to remember, easy to type.
Now it’s one giant eight digit or six digit number. I have to think to read and copy and it makes me crazy. And I have to use this a dozen times each day.
Also, the font has changed. It’s difficult to read. Something more blocky or numeric would be really useful. Or perhaps having the option to change that ourselves.
Version 25 UI upgrade is terrible
The screen redesign in version 25 drastically decreases usability and accessibility for both visual and motor needs. I use this for work and my company has been filing accessibility bugs.
Watch app worse than before
Before secureauth decided to revamp their whole UI the watch app was…unreliable…but when the numbers were there you could be sure that they’d work. Now, with updated UI and amazing “improvements” the watch app decides to pick a set of numbers and never change. Those numbers will work at one point, but then never update ever again!
Won’t work with Apple Watch
Notification comes up on watch, but after choosing the correct prompt says no account associated and to sync with paired device which works when phone is used.
Device Name not showing.
Before last upgrade when icon turned blue from orange, it used to pull device name properly. Now it pulls device model name instead of device name, causing long names for push notification for 2FA, especially if you have more than one mobile device associated
Poorly designed app
Crashes all the time, doesn’t support split view, controls are awkward, doesn’t support magic keyboard for entering password, UI is sometimes partially off the screen, watch doesn’t sync with phone app, another app named SecureAuth on the store is knocking off the SecureAuth name and logo, during onboarding need to hold finger on the text field while typing username and password or it immediately loses focus
2024 watch functionality?!
Sept 2024 update broke Apple Watch sign-on approval system. Super inconvenient when I get a notification on my watch, tap the corresponding key, and the authentication stalls and I have to start my entire sign on again.
Awful. all codes reset
Awful app. How do you update and app and your secure Auth gets completely wiped out. What a joke of an app.
Do not update to new version. It will crash with iOS 18
Unreliable app and outdated
Do not update to new version. It will crash with iOS 18
Bad Update for iOS 18.0
After I’ve updated the application to their new logo, all of my save keys were wiped away. From now on I recommend anyone to use the Google authenticator app or use Apple’s password verification code feature, in the password app.
