Don’t waste your money- it won’t open, nor remember you
I have subscribed through iTunes App Store since August 2018 and haven’t been able to read a single issue, because the app refuses to remember my email, password, or any other cookie that might be stored. I have checked/unchecked all settings that might be preventing it from storing such valuable information- it won’t open on my iPad, iPhone, MacBook, nor Windows laptop. Every time it shows the screen for a new subscriber- I try to “Restore” purchases; and ta-da.....nothing. I have put my email and password into the little window that you get to by going the long way around, (First page, “Can’t Find a past issue from your paid subscription? Back issues are coming ......but you can still access them HERE until (—-)) So press on ‘HERE’ and that takes you to the black screen with a very touch unresponsive entry for email and password (wait 4 minutes; then tap on the screen multiple times...) I have done as the anonymous person requested when I emailed “Contact Us” after following the F.A.Q.’s - no joy. Same problem. They didn’t even have the courtesy to read my email in which I told them what the problem was and what I’d done to try and rectify it. It’s an expensive subscription and because I kept getting told that the problem was getting fixed ‘soon’ I don’t think iTunes /Apple will refund me now. It’s really put me off any digital sewing magazine, although I know that there are some out there that are well run.
