Shot Pattern - Golf GPS

After a series of questions, you make an accout and finally get to using them app. Then you are faced with a “subscribe…”, or else… Subscription is 100$. Based on my experience, this app is utterly useless, sorry.

Before each round at a new course, I go on Google Earth and plan my shots. Particularly my tee shots. I’ve been waiting for an app like this that can do that. The inclusion of potential dispersion is excellent. However, since I already have the phone out to judge distances and dispersion during live play, it would be nice if I could add my shot in real time. Pick my target. Then when I get to my ball, select next club to be hit. That way it would have actual dispersion from real time input, as opposed to my memory after the round. Much more precise. and it would only take a few extra seconds per shot since I already have the app out when figuring my next shot. If the app had that, it would be perfect.

Amazing app and constantly getting better. It’s going to be one of the most important golf apps.

I would say this app saves me a minimum of 3 strokes per round. I use it every time I play to plan my round and make sure I pull the right club. #1 course management app in my book!

I’ve used Arccos for a few years now. I love the simplicity of just playing and reviewing/updating after my round, but thought I would give this app a try to help with target selection off the tee. App is really cool, and I love being able to overlay my shot history onto the course, but two things make it more annoying than it needs to be. 1) When you draw in OOB, trees, etc it doesn’t save it to the hole. I spent about an hour drawing in boundaries for everything on my home course, only to realize after it doesn’t save it 🤦‍♂️ 2) When you do get everything drawn in you can then drag your target line around to find your optimal strokes gained. Ideally the app would have an option to show your optimal target line, instead of playing “guess and check” the whole time. Overall cool app, but for the price tag needs to be a little more fleshed out. I paid for a year, so I’ll have to see where they’re at a year from now when it’s time to renew.

Absolutely great yardage book app. Could not be much better. If they added a simple way to input shots without dragging and dropping on the map it would be perfect for strokes gained tracking!

What a fantastic app! I’ve often scouted courses with the same mindset that this app promotes after learning about decade golf philosophy but this app makes it so much easier to do. Had to borrow my wife’s phone to try it out.

My focus shifted recently to course management, this app was the tech I needed to go with my improving discipline and mindset on the course. It’s simple, but seeing my dispersion pattern gives me a ton of confidence as I commit and try to execute each shot.

I cannot wait to use this tool for tournament planning! In all of 3 rounds my process is so much simpler. Pick Target based on conditions, align parallel to that line and send it over over over. 3 shots dropped right away. Gonna get premium membership after trial!!! Amazing app, easy to use and so much useful info. I do love my 18 birdies for on course games etc but I will be using this to plan the round before. This really is a gem! As someone who appreciates information and one who knows the danger of overload this is down right perfect. Good work!
