Smappee

Even after a few updates, the external devices to switch on/off plugs are unable to be scheduled correctly. They switch off unexpectedly… I’ve finally take them away…

Bought a Smappee and it only lasts 2 years and they want almost $300 to repair it. I have read many similar reviews.

This app has a lot of potential but feels like a work in progress. Various assumptions/few customizations and rough edges. For example: -Energy costs are in USD only. It’s be nice to change the currency. - The store link just assumes I’m in a random European country, no easy way to change that. The only way around I’ve found is to manually change the URL to the preferred country’s two-letter code. - Also, not all items are displayed for purchase on the store, you actually have to find a web browser and fumble around on their website to find things like additional hubs. - For some reason the Smappee Switches are viewable from the store link embedded on the app, but not on the actual site, when accessed via web browser. There are so many more frustrating inconsistencies. And the ones listed above are easy ways they could increase their revenue by making it easier for people to actually buy stuff from them! C’mon devs, get your act together!

De app denkt niet na, begint te laden aan hoog vermogen terwijl dat ‘slim’ laden zou zijn, dynamisch staat ingesteld en op dat moment duur! Ook overschot werkt niet als je een thuisbatterij hebt! Wel een strak design maar ben be niet veel mee als die jou in de kosten steekt!

Mijn Smappee werd pas geplaatst en het is een super interessant “ding” heel interessant.

J'aurais quand même une remarque à faire. Sur la configuration d'une borne de recharge, il est difficile de comprendre à partir de quand sont pris en compte des changements de configuration (passage du mode Standard à Intelligent à Surplus). C'est pareil lorsqu'on fait évoluer le pourcentage minimum d'excédent nécessaire pour charger. Une petite modification avec l'introduction d'un bouton Sauvegarer / Appliquer, permettrait de mieux se rendre compte. Car intuitivement on pense naviguer entre les différentes possibilité, sans se rendre compte qu'on est effectivement entrain de modifier le comportement de la borne. Inversément, par moment on moidifier le pourcentage de surplus nécessaire, mais on a l'impression que la modification n'est pas prise en compte. C'est déroutant.
