This app was great when I first got it and was on the free introductory membership. Since I paid for a long term membership it has been terrible. The connection times out or reports an error. I have to logout and log back in or delete the app and reinstall to get anything to work. That’s just a short term fix and only works for a few minutes before you have to do it all over again. Very disappointed in the current experience for the $$$.
Useless App
Recently purchased a Thermospa and got it connected about 3 weeks ago… App worked for about a day… Now it’s useless…
So much for a free years worth of service…
Apple Watch
Hadn’t paid attention to it all summer, but what happened to Apple Watch support? Can’t bring the iPhone into the run to control things, but I was able to use Apple Watch.
Now that it’s hot tub season again, wondering why Apple Watch support was removed from the app?!?
What do we need to do to bring it back?!?
New User- App won’t get past serial number input screen
I would love if this app worked, but I can’t get past the serial number input screen… the app just spins and spins
What happened to the watch app?
The app is ok in general. However, I just went to open the app on my Apple Watch and it is gone and the App Store listing no longer shows one is available.
Not reliable.
After speaking with customer service a few times I am told the location of my tub is in between cell towers and the signal on both towers is very weak. I am told there is an internet version in development but no timetable for release. Can’t rely on the connection now but it is exciting on the rare occasion the app connects to the tub!
Needs a lot of work
I’m wondering why I spent the extra money for a “Smart” Tub. Not so smart. I am unable to set the time. It wont’t stick. I cannot change the filtering schedule. It’s set for am start time and I want to change it to pm. I try to change it to pm and it won’t change. The lights associated with whether the pumps are running are not accurate. Light is on but pump is not running. And vice versa. Very underwhelmed. At the moment it is pretty useless. Tech said they are trying to fix the bugs. I hope so!
It’s broke
They pushed 2 updates this week. As a result (a) I’ve lost my Apple Watch app, (b) lost all of my automations, (c) the app appearance on my phone is distorted, and, not to be overlooked, (d) can’t adjust the temp on the tub via the app any more. Not a great look for a paid subscription. Why did you have to f with it? Please fix this ASAP

Good Attempt, But Mediocre Execution
I have only had my hot tub about a month. The SmartTub app connectivity was flaky under the v6.6.6 app - with frequent server connection issues.
I’ve noticed those connectivity issues are eliminated for me in app v6.6.7. However, now the “Energy Usage” feature is broken and only shows “0” for daily and monthly history detail. Was hopeful the app could at least estimate energy usage - seems like a simple thing to track.
My other issue is that I cannot adjust the exterior light brightness via the app. Every time I try the app shuts the lights off and I have to reset them from the physical control panel on the hot tub. Pretty annoying…
Overall, SmartTub seems like a decent set of intended features that don’t quite work properly. Maybe they’ll fix the bugs eventually…but I’m not holding my breath.
I’m glad the SmartTub feature was a free add-on through my dealer. I’d be severely disappointed if I had paid for the SmartTub functionality.
