Even before the new pit boss app came out and we lost wifi on the smoke it app for Louisiana grillers, this app was terrible. Wifi connection would need to be reset every cook to guarantee it wouldn’t kick out during a cook. The grill graph is hidden in your settings? Also if your grill goes into an error, the app doesn’t inform you. Would be nice especially if you’ve had a fire and would like to know that your grill is on fire.

The app was basic, but did work well… but now they use Pit Boss it doesn’t work at all and nor does the new APP

Doesn’t work properly for Louisiana Grill. Bluetooth is spotty at best and wifi is non existent. Hopefully they make a new app like put boss did. For now, it’s basically useless.

When I first downloaded the app it connected to WIFI. It no longer does and only the Bluetooth connection to the grill works. I’ve deleted the app. Restarted the phone. Tried to add the grill again, multiple times and it still doesn’t work. Very disappointing.

The company switches apps, but doesn’t include Louisiana grills. So now my smoker is Bluetooth only, in other words you mays well go look at the grill. They’ve been pathetic from the word go, never wanted to hook up to wifi properly in the first place. Randomly shutting off. The list goes on. Learn from me and buy a traeger, don’t deal with these idiots

Sometimes Bluetooth connects but Wi-Fi never does. It never really did…only occasionally and I’ve had my Legacy 1200 for over a year now. For a $2600 grill you would think they could develop a decent app. The grill is friggin amazing. Best on the market for high end pellet grills in my opinion. But seriously folks…this needs to be fixed.

I was advised by PitBoss that this software no longer works on the Lousiana Grills product line. They say a new app is imminent for the Lousiana Grill product line. Feb/2023

The Founders 1200 grill I have is fantastic absolutely zero complaints about the grill. The app on the otherhand is atrocious. It says my grill is connected but from the grills tab repeatedly wants me to connect grill. It remembers my wifi information but will not retain the grill in the memory. I have tried numerous times to connect the grill and am told it has connected successfully but will not show me the grill. Worst app ever. Utterly useless. And seriously disappointing for a grill with such a high price point. Sad.

The app connects to the grill no problem, but the perks end there. I can’t believe that you’re not able to see the trend of the temperature probes through the app. There’s some pretty basic stuff like that that this app cannot do.

App works fine for me. Could use more functions like a low temp set point and alarm in case pellets stop falling or you run out.
