First time ordering I didn’t know if they legit but decided to give them a try since I saw it’s same day delivery, I placed an order 22 June 2024 @ 12:58pm afternoon received order @ 1:28pm , that was the fastest time I’ve ever received anything. Driver called aswell letting me know his outside the apartment building ! Great Services Will be using again when needed <3

Don’t waste your time being wooed by the fact that they’re still new to delivering and offer this for free (won’t last anyway). Reasons I do not recommend: 1. Their “reservation fee” of 10% of your order is promised to be returned. This I’ve had happen elsewhere, no problem.. Only to find that they DO NOT refund this to me. Now trying to get my refunds through their customer service, which is like pulling teeth. 2. Don’t bother if you’d like food and alcohol in the same order. Nope, you must change to their liquor store if you want that pasta to be accompanied by some merlot, and place another order. Highly inconvenient. 3. Things that are out of order as per the app - I went to the same store less than 2 hours later and miraculously they had stock? 4. No option to tip the driver!? 5. No option to track the driver to ensure you don’t keep him waiting. Same goes for communication with driver: living in a complex I need to give him a gate code, forcing him to call to get it. Really hope it’s not his own airtime. 6. Really poor functionality, search results are often not their full range of products (I know this as I shop physically at the store often) so limited. The only positive is their delivery has always taken less than 40 minutes, but pegging that to the fact that they’re not so busy and the store is 10 mins away from me. Get it together, Spar!

The app is great, just wish there’d an option to keep the refunded amount as credit in the app, instead of having waiting for a week to get it back into your bank account

Did app update same situation

Decided to give them benefit of the doubt, worst decision ever. Their contact centre is not working. The agent are busy the whole day. Give you what you did not order, even when you did not want a substitute of the product.

This App is extremely SAD! Extremely Slow. The search is bad. The Layout is bad when searching for an products. Even if you use the product make. Its just slow. After an hour it kicks you out and want you to sign up again. Losing your shopping list you need to restart. At the checkout even worse. Over and over re entering card details. I like Spar products because. But No ways. Not this App. Too little drivers and shoppers as they take 3 hrs to shop and deliver. On average It’s worse on Public Holidays. Ridiculous service.

I have been shopping at my local spar in Benoni but unfortunately twice l have ordered and some stuff were apparently out of stock n l was not told but shockingly my money was deducted

Hi, I’ve only used this app once. It’s super user friendly, better then the blue app. The only recommendation I would give is the substitute function Bev when an item I purchased was out of stock it only gave me a refund but I really needed the item. Spar Palm Court did send me an alternative so that was great.

I waited 2 and a half hours for my order. I’m so disappointed.
