Spark messaged me saying I’ve used twenty percent of my data when I have unlimited data. Are they trying to scam me???
Worst NZ telco/app… avoid at all costs!!
I’ve arrived to NZ and bought an eSIM, on their app after many failures and outages. After 10-15 min I’ve got the eSIM profile qrcode emailed to me. And when finished installing the profile and activation got 3G without any internet. Also when tried linked the number to my Spark app (don’t ask why have to link myself manually), it gives error that the msn number is not valid…!! I’ve raised it to their customer service on the chat and nobody’s there to answer..!!
Absolutely useless piece of ……
Needs a 1 star.. Who ever designed this app needs to take a look at other Telco apps and see how they work and how user friendly they are- the entire design needs rethink very poor unfriendly layout. used the up to renew my pre pay- $19.00 back on 14/05 - today I find that I only have a $8.00 balance - considering I haven’t used the phone AT ALL - so much for $19.00plan lasting a month - secondly - their communications I. E sms etc- just as inept as the Spark app- you get message at 0230 am ? Last Friday 13/05/22 Have asked for a supervisor to call me - STILL NO CALL even though a team meme we promised it would happen in the next 48 hrs?? So all app this spark app- useless and it goes with Spark overall - Inept in every respect.
Roaming rubbish
When I try to view roaming usage in Australia I select the usage tab associated with the roaming package but it loads the data from my usual contract in NZ instead. Not helpful when you’re trying to monitor usage and not get charged an excessive bill but I wouldn’t be surprised it’s designed that way on purpose.
No expiration info
App is ok but please add when the credit or service expires. Can only see this on the website.

Not a fan of New app format.
Updated app - No Good
Updated app - won’t login. Enter details and then the app just shuts down. Have all updated software on phone and have deleted app and reinstalled. Still won’t work!!!!

It worked great before now it’s confusing! You don’t get a real understanding of your usage in this app in comparison to the previous app!
