Tasker by Taskrabbit

They market themselves as being a platform that you can arrange work in your free time. However you cannot gain full access to your account until an online workshop has been completed at either 10am or 4pm. Neither of which are around working hours. Deleted the app and will no be wasting my time, the customer service reps are not interested in helping either!

I’ve been a Tasker since 2014, and I can confidently say that the platform has deteriorated significantly. The support team is unhelpful and offers little to no assistance when issues arise. Getting jobs has become nearly impossible unless you achieve elite status, which feels out of reach for most. Despite their claims of treating Taskers and clients equally, it’s clear they consistently side with clients. I would not recommend this platform to anyone looking for reliable work.

Wasted time jumping through loads of hoops providing all this info to be told I need to sign up to a 30min workshop to get full access snd start accepting tasks. Upon trying to sign up the link to the workshop doesn’t work and I am stuck with limited access. What a complete waste of time. Also the map area feature is terrible, you can’t just set a radius you have to draw a work areaand 9/10 the app will not register you touch or it lags out and when you finally draw out you area it tells you it’s over 800 km2 try again. That’s quite a small area when I live in a semi rural region and besides I should be able to set where i want to travel that shouldn’t be dictated to me. Either way this app is terrible and a complete waste of time, you will spend more time setting your account up that you will actually getting any work.

I open it and just white screen. I have deleted and installed again and still white screen

They make you registered them they don’t accept anyone Bad app and waste of time

1-Task is not in order in time in the task list. 2-/My Task/ tasks duplicate in current tasks and past tasks.confusing.

After 3 lasts update my account It doesn't work anymore, something is wrong and no one listens to you and fixes it. ABSURD DISREGARD.

After 8 years of dedicated use, I’ve made the decision to leave this platform, feeling deeply disillusioned and dissatisfied. What initially seemed like a promising tool for enhancing communication and productivity has, over time, left me feeling more like a slave to artificial intelligence. One of the core issues I’ve experienced is a significant lack of genuine, human-like interaction. The communication has become increasingly mechanical, resulting in a sense of isolation rather than connection. This stark emotional disconnect has contributed to feelings of frustration and even depression over the years. If you're seeking authentic engagement or meaningful interaction, this platform is not the solution. While AI has its strengths, in this case, the limitations outweigh any benefits. I no longer feel comfortable or motivated to continue on a platform that leaves me feeling more frustrated than fulfilled.

Don’t even waste your time thinking about using this app, I have tried using it for a good 18 months and the support and inappropriate business methods make it impossible. Go direct to Bark, it costs to get the chance to quote, but you can make so much more money and get access to communicate with customers properly and directly. I cannot recommend avoiding TaskRabbit enough.
