Tasker by Taskrabbit

I have never written an apple review ever in my life, but the optimization for this app is god awful. I can’t even get past the login screen. It repeatedly tells me my password and username are wrong over and over again. Even though it’s not, I reset my password 4 times, still says it’s wrong. I have been attempting this for two hours now. Do not download.

I signed up on here to make some quick money to help pay off debt. You can’t even get into the app without doing a background check, which costs $25. The app assures you that you will make it back within your first job. So I paid it. Not only can you NOT search for jobs that need to be done, you have to wait for people to find you. I followed all the recommended instructions and added all my skills (which was a lot). Several weeks of no jobs so I contacted customer support to have my $25 decided since I did not, in fact, make the money back. They will not refund it. So you have an app that requires you to pay money to make money and then when you don’t make money they keep yours. Skip the hassle.

You can’t even change your password.

worst customer support, they just don't care about you, they don't even answer emails.

This platform is not recommended they played with your payments so many time you lose your time driving for hours and not get pay they charge money to the client and after they want to pay you in a month or sometimes not they closed my account because they have to pay me $2,000 dollars for a job I do in a customer house I invest money in materials and helpers and the client and task rabbit do not respond to my payment customer says I’m going to call the police task rabbit say yes call the police if this tasker go to you house …. I have pictures and video of my job over there working hard with respect client Jason in laurel Maryland but I’m going to my lawyer office to take ligal action closing my account with my work money. Task rabbit was lied to me saying they customer don’t update his payment info yet and customer show me his bill fully charged and paid. Task rabbit abandoned you and if you try to claim they salect you on chat as a garbage and no chat respond to you not recommend is fraud company and the most stupid thing is client think they have something guaranteed with this platform if you house suffer some damage task rabbit not respond in nothing is my insurance company who responded not task rabbit. A client Jason in laurel Maryland call to say I’m harassing him just because I text him to ask for my payment and task rabbit say call the police task rabbit not respond to my payment client Jason don’t pay me and they close my account all this in this beautiful Christmas time o work for free .

Don’t download is months I don’t receive a single job I keep writing support they keep telling me it’s the season, but it’s been already 4 months and the last month I have a job I only have 1 and before that one the same, so don’t lose your money and time

I signed up thinking its a bidding war concept, but no they price your work for you and then they are limited on taskers 🤦🏽‍♂️ GARBAGE .

You will get suspended from the app for not accepting enough jobs regardless of what requests you get it’s your fault. You’ll also get suspended for accepting jobs that you can’t do to avoid this. Also your fault. Illegal activities and you’ll get in trouble for whistleblowing them. Look elsewhere before this company goes under legal ramifications

Jobs are low, and expect to not have the flexibility to choose the jobs that suite your time and budget. Regardless of who cancels the job, it will have the same impact on your account, eventually getting you suspended. There are requests from clients with super unreasonable expectations, such as hoarders hiring for clean-up, I’m talking about floor to ceiling trashed homes. And the attitudes of the clients can vary drastically. I got hired by a retired DA who threatened to punch me in the mouth, while in her home. So, yes…TaskRabbit is a lot of work to do when it comes to INDEPENDENT WORKERS flexibility to choosing jobs without ACCOUNT IMPACT which is against Ca Labor law!!!!

I give 5 stars in my opinion compared to other apps in the market this is the best one right now to work as a handyman/furniture assembly etc. My only suggestion is that we as taskers need to have the option to combine categories of tasks while working on them so costumers don’t get confused. For example many times i get asked by the costumers to mount a tv but they hired me for furniture assembly. Basically if i had that option it will be really easy for the costumer to understand how the categories and different charges work. I really hope this comes out in an update soon. 👍
