TD MyAdvantage

Je suis client avec TD assurances pour la maison et mes automobiles depuis 15 mois. Étant une banque d’envergure j’avais confiance qu’ils soient très professionnel et compétent pour assurer mes biens. Ils sont tout sauf cela! J’utilise l’application TD mon avantage depuis plus d’un an dans le but de me mériter des réductions de primes sur mes véhicules. Malgré que j’obtiens un score enviable de 89% avec plusieurs milliers de KM enregistré dans l’application, je reçois continuellement des courriel de TD me disant d’installer l’application et de l’activer. J’ai communiqué avec des agents de TD qui m’ont suggérer d’escalader ce problème à leur département des plaintes. La réponse que n’obtient est que leur système interne ne réussit pas à activer l’application et par conséquent ils ne peuvent m’accorder la réduction que j’ai mérité. Je suis réellement déçu des cette compagnie et du traitement que je reçois pour corriger un erreur de leur part et non ma part. Je suis à bout de continuellement avoir a me battre pour rester client avec eux. Je déconseille grandement à tous d’assurer vos biens avec cette compagnie et j’encourage tous les insatisfaits comme moi à faire entendrent leurs voix sur ce site et sur les médias sociaux. Peut-être auront-ils la décence de réagir comme il se doit pour ne pas perdre encore plus de client. Totalement absurde comme situation

Terribly experience designed to get you the lowest “discount” possible and doesn’t reflect on any real world scenarios. It’s a total scam of the system. You literally lose points for deleting trips. So if you’re ever a passenger or transit, you’re literally penalized for it. It’ll even sometimes ask you if you were on transit, if you day yes, your overall score goes down. The devs have no logic to their code.

It is every time logs me out then i have to call back to the team and then they give me login code again and then i can let in the app and use it . I have been called them 18 times and 18 time it has logged me out. It is so inconvenient for me.

Over past 2 years, application stops uploading driving data every 4 months on iOS device. No phone changes or upgrades. Requires application to be Removed and Reinstalled after a few days. Regular calls to tech support useless.

Faire un u-turn dans un cul de sac à 2km/h vous donne un mauvais score de +/- 20%. Un meilleur score si vous reculez jusqu’à la prochaine intersection mais c’est très dangeureux! Un bon score pour des manœuvres dangereuses c’est ridicule. Toucher aux freins fait baisser le score de freinage systématiquement, il faut plutôt lâcher l’accélérateur plusieurs centaines de mètres avant un arrêt et faire rager tous ceux qui vous suivent. Cette app encourage la rage au volant chez les autres usagers de la route si on veut économiser vraiment. Algorithme désastreux dans un nombre innombrable de cas de conduite prudente. Le score reflète rarement la réalité, c’est très décevant. Pour s’en sortir, j’efface systématiquement les trajets avec un mauvais score en disant que j’étais passager.

How does all my recorded trips above 93 ends my score of 85? Unless the developer is doing some shady math behind the scene.

I agree with everything Elizabeth B stated in her review.

1. If a car ahead or beside you changes lane into your lane and you brake to avoid a collision, the app will penalize you. 2. if you drive above the speed limit on the highway, which is essential to avoid cars approaching at high speed and overtaking aggressively, you are penalized. No sensible driver can drive at the speed limit today. 3. We had a bike rack mounted on the hitch with bikes attached and when we reversed, the app sensed that we were reversing into something. Similar experience with backing into a parking space with bushes at the end. 4. there are times when the driver needs to accelerate rapidly to avoid an accident. Again, the app will penalize you. Similarly with breaking rapidly to avoid a car that breaks quickly in front of you.

Cornering to get in and out of my apartment car park drives down my cornering score which is stupid. Recalibrate your app to be more accurate. This app is highly not recommended. TD should be ashamed for releasing it. Would give a negative star rating if possible.

This app isn’t accurate and is only to create you anxiety and anger while driving. TD surely doesn’t wants to provide you with discount CUs at the end of the year, your score will be low and barely with 5%. I always drive well and safe, my score is always between 90% majority of times. But, out of the sudden it went down to 3%??? Toronto is full of construction everywhere including highways. Nowadays I have to be driving at 30km/hr under since the traffic jam is there. And the app scores me lower because I was slow in a highway??? Are you out of your mind??? My car doesn’t fly yet!!! Then when someone suddenly cuts you off on the line, you have to do a hard break and then you lose points. So you want me to just crash the car??? Then in curves where you have to slow down to get pass it, the app marks you that you did it wrong and on the edge… so you want me to just jump over it and fly away??? And when the lights turn green, even if you don’t accelerate hard, it says you did accelerated like fast and furious… so you want me to start increasing speed like a tortoise so I can create an accident??? Who’s stupid IT person created this idiotic system that makes you look like a bad driver when you’re not??? It seems that having this “rewards” program is useless since you won’t get a discount due to its bad and accurate rating. And even if you delete it and say that you were a driver, some of those rides stills counting when it shouldn’t be. TD should take a look on this and fix it!!! Maybe creating a mounting sensor that can be installed on the car so it can measure everything more accurately so you can get a more fair score instead of using your phone??? CUs also our phones can be used by our children and it can affect the scoring since they could also drop the phone on the car and then you know… I don’t have kids, but I still get a bad score anyways… If TD fixes this fairly, I’ll change my rating.
