This app is just a scam. They probably sell your info to make profit. They don’t care about if you match someone

League supporter since September 2018 and still not a member ... they take your personal information and put you on « waiting list » pretending to review it, they still review mine for more than a year, At the end they want you to pay to access to the app....

VERY poor and unresponsive customer service. Completely failed to match up to the hype and it seems the nature of the app is changing. It is an embarrassment. Let me explain. I joined The League in good faith upon recommendation of a friend. It was supposed to have a high bar for picking candidates. Upon downloading, the app solicited fees. I put myself on the one month trial and was able to IMMEDIATELY start swiping. They couldn’t possibly have even bothered to background check me. The WORST service came when I checked my bank account later in the month. Boom. I was hit with a $250 bill and I had NO idea how it came to be. It turns out this app had forced me into a YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION without ever giving me a choice. Whether that’s legal is seriously dubious. I contacted the “Concierge” (a joke- completely mechanical and only defers problems) demanding a refund. I said it was impossible for me to have made that choice WILLINGLY , seeing as I travel for the next 6 months and nobody in their right mind would subscribe to a year long dating service when they physically won’t be around. Besides, I’m a new user and haven’t even checked that I’m happy with the service yet. The “Concierge” first deferred, saying they offer no refunds, insisting I was given a choice. When I asked for proof that they had a choice of terms of subscription, they could give none. I felt completed cheated and scammed and threatened to take it to the bank to report them as a SCAM. Upon that message , “Concierge” offered for me to seek a refund from Apple. I did everything they instructed and yielded NO response from Apple. I am now still being billed that $250 for a service forced upon me. The worst thing is, the people you meet on the app aren’t at all what they tout it to be. The “elites”, “Ivy League” grads (myself being one), “world travelers”, a lot of them don’t respond at all, and I see regular people on both this app and other apps like Coffee meets bagel and Bumble. The customer service from this app is robotic, insincere, and it is obvious that they only care about taking in as many subscriptions as possible. For the money you pay? It is a complete scam. APP DEVELOPERS- PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE OF FORCED SUBSCRIPTION. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND QUESTIONABLE ETHICS. I would have been a loyal client and renewed my subscription when I’m back in the city, but given this bad experience, I would caution any friend against this app.

It has been postponing the starting date of service 3 times already in hk region. From may18 to oct18 and to feb19. Don’t pay anything. Imo, it’s a scam.

Not many real profiles that respond. A waste of time if there aren’t real guys using this.

This app claims to have better quality matches. However, they are not. They are the same exact quality level as any other dating app. I’ve matched with spam accounts, just like other apps. There is nothing this site offers worth even close to the hundreds they charge per week. It needs a complete overhaul for as much as they charge. I’ve tried the free account, they claim to have a “concierge” to help, however when asking the concierge questions, the responses are always automated, and stating they are too busy helping the paid accounts to help the free accounts. There’s not one feature that I’ve seen to make me want to spend the money on a paid account. ETA: To respond to the developer’s response, I didn’t state “exclusive profiles”, I stated “quality”, so your response doesn’t help at all. As I stated in my original review, you do not have profiles with better quality than your competitors, you have the exact same profiles as your competitors, with the same spam.

Very sophisticated classy

For over a month now I’ve been #1 applicant in my area out of 10,750 AND #1 globally out of 1,008,502. This who “application” process and “waitlist” is a total sham. Edit: If the developer response to my review asking me to email them doesn’t prove to you the whole “application process” is a sham, I don’t know what else you need to see. If I’m literally #1 globally in their application process then how can they not find me?

The developers of this app make a lot of excuses, but it's all talk. They always have an excuse or a rebuttal for any comment or criticism made for the app. But the facts are, they are liars. Yes this app is $300 a week yes there are an extremely high number of dead profiles. Yes they're in fact is a pay wall. Mentioning that a paywall is optional, doesn't change the fact there's a paywall. your preferences change and you are unable to alter them unless you pay $300 a week. this app should be reported and removed. This app is 100% of scam. Go ahead, test the app out for yourself and come back to verify if my review is honest and accurate. Which it will be. Do you know who is dishonest? These developers....
