Our Run30 programme is a simple, easy to follow walk/run programme. Based on minutes moving rather than pace or distance, our low pressure approach to exercise has already supported thousands of women to move more in these challenging times. The 24 coached sessions are all between 30 and 45 minutes, ideal for the current restrictions on time outdoors.
You can start wherever you feel comfortable and repeat sessions if you need to, all with the support of TMR Founder, Mel Bound who will encourage you, give you supportive tips, and let you know when to run and when to walk.
Its a great programme to follow with your kids too - a perfect addition to their daily PE.
Our Run30 programme features:
Access to 24 Coached Sessions for life

Receive session by session coaching from TMR founder Mel Bound plus tips and advice from women who have completed the programme. Take 2 months, or 12 - this is all about doing at your own pace and we’ll show you how. The app provides guided running sessions and integrates with HealthKit, so that all your exercise data will also be available in your Health app.
Feel Part of a Community
Get inspiration and advice from TMR community members, who share their experiences, highs and lows, tips and hacks for getting started - and keeping going! And join a global community of Mums doing the programme too.
Advice you can Trust
Our bodies change post kids, and we know you have loads of questions. So our specialist women’s physio, Clare Callaghan, shares her advice on everything from leaky pelvic floors to the menopause, from running after a c-section, to how to cope with diastastis. She really knows her stuff.
Give it a go - try the first session on us

When I first downloaded this app I had no problems with it and happily followed the programme. I’m no repeating the programme and no matter what I try, I cannot get the timer to stay counting down when my phone screen goes off (the timer stops so it’s useless). Plus audio cues don’t come on so I don’t know when the end of each interval is (even when not listening to music)
Run program gets unknown error
Tried to go in first run got unknown error and then app crashed out redownloaded got same issues
Looks great but sound isn’t working
Hi please help! I just discovered this app and it looks like just the ticket to get me running again. But after installing it the sound didn’t work. I uninstalled it and tried again but the same issue persisted. Please can you help?
This is more of a reporting feedback than a review per se.
A great way for new runners to build confidence
Narrated by founder Mel Bound, this app is a great partner for the novice runner. Manageable sessions that quickly build confidence and stamina, I particularly like that I can play my own music (or have no music at all), accompanied my Mel’s coaching. Highly recommended
Made me a runner
I actually did the TMR Run 30 and Run 60 physical course back in 2017 before I was pregnant with my third. They made me a runner then. I never thought I’d run any kind of distance, let alone a 10k and TMR did that. My husband moved away after baby three so I couldn’t do the evening sessions any more. The app means I get the familiarity of the TMR structure with the freedoms to run when I have the time. I really like it. It’s got me running again. And I can run and listen to podcasts and Mel chips in when she needs to over the audio. One small thing, I could do with narration for the warm up and cool down sessions. I find I tend to do these outside and have to keep checking my phone to remind myself what the stretches are. But I almost have them memorised by session 6 so it’s a tiny issue.
Fantastic!
I am really enjoying this app! Can’t wait to discover more
A different viewpoint
I’ve always thought of running as a distance event - I have to run 5k or 10k and my times have to improve and I have to run three times a week and I’ve always failed. It became even harder once I became a full time working mum. I’m exhausted most of the time - there is no parenting off switch! I decided to go for this app because I really liked the idea of running not a distance, not a specific distance within a time frame, but to just be able to run for 30 minutes. At my pace. There is no “how far did you go?” questioning at the end. I just followed the app and was guided by Mel. It’s very early days but there is something different about this way of training - this different mindset that makes me feel like the pressure is off. I got to the end of my first session and thought - I can do this!
Best app
I’ve tried a few fitness and running apps, but this one is the best by far. The app allows you to choose music to play along and then gently encourages great achievements. I’ve never been able to run for more than 5 mins, and yet with this app, half way through and I can run 20 mins non stop! It’s amazing!
Good but some flaws
I have just finished week 4 of this app. I wasn’t sure about paying when there are so many free ones and to be honest there’s not a huge difference between this and the free ones. The warm up and cool down videos have been useful though. The app says if you pay you get to join the community of supportive mums. But my invitation to the Facebook group is still pending after 4 weeks and the group only has a handful of members.
I find the voice prompts get a little repetitive after a while. It would be good to have more range of these and also different ones depending on what week you’re on. They do change a little, but not enough. For example I would appreciate more encouragement during the first longer runs. The first ever 5 minute run felt like forever to me and I’d have liked more countdowns and encouragement to keep me going. Mel’s voice is great though, very genuine and doesn’t irritate or grate at all. She’s not over the top enthusiastic, it’s just right.
My biggest problem with this app is that there are some errors with counting workouts. I have now done 12 sessions, all around 30 mins each. But the app tells me I have done 24 sessions and been moving for 24 hours. Clearly not right. I brought this up on the Facebook group and received no response. Possibly it got missed as I commented on the page rather than private messaging.
Overall it is a nice app and I love the idea of mums supporting each other. It’s such a lovely idea and that’s what prompted me to buy the app. With a few bug fixes and improvements I think it would be worth the money, but at the moment it’s quite expensive for what it is.
This the perfect antidote to busy lives 💕
I’ve been a huge fan of This Mum Runs since the early days but this app means I can have Mel and my own playlist with me on every run.
Super simple to use and just the right amount of instruction but heaps of encouragement along the way.
Download it or gift it to a friend/family member and carve out some ‘me time’ It’s fab! CT
