This Old House

Reading through these reviews, this seems to have been a problem for now many years. The app crashes it’s buggy. It’s almost unusable. In fact it is unusable. I have no idea how a brand with such high integrity could have such a horrible app. Who’s ever in charge of this app should be gone.

Love this show. Hate that I have to sign in almost every time I want to watch an episode. Please fix app.

Very frustrating having to log in every time on auth0.com. Doesn’t save password and sends to yo the auth0.com every time. Getting close to cancelling my subscription after 4 years

They billed me but want me to pay again to view the content!!

I am an existing insider and unable to watch anything. It tells me I’m not subscribed and wants me to pay for a new subscription, despite being already paid and subscribed

I paid for an insider subscription 3 weeks ago and I get errors whenever I try to login or reset my password. Their tech support just says it has been elevated to a senior tech person and it never gets fixed. This app stinks and I want a refund!

Wether it’s carpentry, plumbing, painting, landscape, electrical, u can always find most answers to ur questions.

The little blurbs that tell what each episode is about are all off by a season or two. I.e. the description of SE13 EP1 actually belongs under SE12 EP1. It makes it hard to keep up with where you are and impossible to find any particular episode.

The new 2024 app displays incorrect episode descriptions, which is frustrating. They also removed the feature that allowed you to easily scrub forward or back 10 seconds just by pressing the right or left buttons on your remote. Navigating through videos now takes several additional clicks and is less precise. Last, TOH has an iconic logo and blue color scheme! Why on earth is the new icon dull gray with the entire phrase “This Old House” jammed on it in minuscule print?

After joining as a paying customer, the TOH app would not accept my paid membership status when viewing on my streaming devices, and was requiring me to select another subscription and double charge me for access. I emailed customer service 4 times without resolution for 3 weeks. So I cancelled and requested a refund. I love TOH but the lack of customer service and any effort to correct the issue is unacceptable.
