The Total Connect Comfort app allows users to remotely monitor and manage their heating and security system – at anytime, from anywhere. Total Connect Comfort works with the following thermostat and security solutions:
- The evohome thermostat systems
- The single zone thermostat in conjunction with an internet gateway
- The European voice controlled thermostat
- The Wi-Fi Smart thermostat (available in selected countries)
- Evohome Security
- Sucrebox Security
With the Total Connect Comfort app users can:
- View and set the indoor temperature
- View and change the program time period
- View and set a quick action (on selected solutions)
- View and set the system's operating mode (on selected solutions)
- View and set the fan's operating mode (on selected solutions)
- View a 5-Day weather forecast
- Access multiple locations if more than one system is registered
- Use the Demo Mode before purchasing a thermostat
- Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available
- Turn on or off email notifications about the system's connectivity status
With the Total Connect Comfort app together with an Evohome or SucreBox security system, users can:
- Arm, disarm or partial arm their security system
- Take camera shots upon an automatic or manual alarm trigger
- Receive alarm notifications via email or SMS
- View the alarm system activity feed
- Automatically upgrade to new features once they become available

Doesn’t connect to my thermostat
Doesn’t connect to my thermostat. Keeps saying gateway not bound even when I’ve registered it

Just doesn’t work
I can log in, all my details are correct including the thermostat device that I’m connected to, but all I get is a “gateway not bound” message every time I try to connect to the thermostat
Simply horrid.
This software screws the pooch more times than I get hot meals. Every morning it turns my thermostat to heat my house at 6 am even tho there is no schedule set into it to do so. It gets Daylight Savings time screwed up, advancing the clock by 1 hour instead of the reverse. It is only settable to 15 minute increments. It can only have four sets of on off periods in a day. The copy paste option doesn’t work properly. The interface looks like it’s written by an undergraduate, it doesn’t support rotation on an apple device, and it looks like rubbish on an iPad.
Works great
This app is great for the purpose it’s intended. I would love to see extra features though, like a chart of temperature in the house throughout the day.
It’s much better now
In August I reported that this app constantly crashed after a week. I contacted Honeywell and reported the problem. To their credit that have upgraded the app and for about a month it has worked flawlessly. Thanks Honeywell. It seem to be missing a daylight saving time change option though. That would make it perfect. I’m in Australia.
Crashes A Lot
**SINCE THE NEW UPDATE THE CRASH ISSUE SEEMS TO BE FIXED** (21/11/2018) Wall controller is is easy to use. App is easy to use. Unfortunately the app constantly crashes and the only way to fix it is to delete the app and install it again and log back in. It is very frustrating when this happens as my controller is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. The whole point of the WiFi option is to have the ability to control the controller remotely whether it be at home or away. **IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED**
Same crashing issue
Worked fine for a week or so, then started crashing on start up.
