Lowering to 4 only due to missing the multi currency functionality, other than that great app

I have been emailing them but I have not received a reply to resolve the issues. I have been trying to update the bank details for withrawal purposes as the withdrawals keep getting transferred to a credit card account Inused before to the extent where I now have excess credit card balance. I clearly chose a debit account already registered in the system during the withdrawal but the transfer was made to my credit card account which I did not choose. Because of this I have incurred foreign exchange costs, transaction and other fees, this is just so inconvenient. Planning to close my account soon to transfer to another broker, tradezero is a better broker so far.

On a regular basis come US market open time the whole thing goes down leaving you unable to settle positions. Moreover, trading 212 engaged in blatant market manipulation by restricting trading to one side of the market leading to a number of stocks to tank and customers to deal with the fallout of this decision.

Somehow Trading 212 decided what shares we can buy in a free market. Is this even legal????

The app has a good and clean design however customer support follow up is very poor even after repeated emails or through the app, leaving user trying to resolve issues. In addition there are issues with residence verification. It seems that by default customer support erroneously (in some cases at least) assert that genuine documents submitted are “printed off the internet” and thus not suitable. This shows lack of expertise in identifying genuine documents which in turn casts doubt on how the process is tackled internally. In addition for some reason the verification process also resets seemingly for no reason even after successful verification.

I transferred £10,000 on the 27 Dec to my Trading 212 account. I expected the funds to be credited instantly. However, on speaking to the customer support team, I was asked to wait 3 days. That then changed to 3 working days, and then end of the day. It is now more than 6 days and the money has still not been credited! Customer support don’t have a clue of when the money will show up in my account if at all! They can’t even help validate the account details of where the money has been sent! There’s no phone line support nor anyone in customer support who can help! Appalling level of service for a financial services company!

App is nice and clear and easy to navigate around

December 2024 I used the Virtual account to start with because I wanted to learn more about trading practices, I read all the reviews here and all or most of these reviews say they have received poor customer service, this is not a great app based on the majority of these user customers complaints, from their real experiences of using this service, so based on that alone, it’s enough to affect my decision not to do real trades with this app or this service, as these are Honest reviews from real people. I’ve decided to uninstall this app, because there are better ones out there, this is not the only one, I’ve tried the forex stock trading training app, and so far it seems good 👍 Laura in England 🇬🇧
