Edit: I’ve contacted their support, and they were not able to help me. It looks like there’s a problem with their cloud servers - it keeps failing on Step 3 (Registering)

Great .. for a few Months.
Zero online support. Enter a 4-6 digit pin … but it’s 8 and and now has a QR code that is of no help. Now my $900 shower valve doesn’t work at all. Please fix!
Not working

The buttons work fine.
The app will not connect or even do a thing.

New feature ask - Arizona MST
App works great. I’d like to request a feature for you to add Arizona - Mountain Standard Timezone, this way we don’t have to change time zones twice a year since we don’t observe daylight savings time.
Unit Disconnects Regularly
We have tried multiple routers, an IOT network on only 2.4ghz and moving routers closer, but the shower unit disconnects every few weeks. This last round was the worst and the unit goes through the setup after a factory reset and stalls out on the 2/3 step. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Wish we knew this before buying the unit. We are not paying to have this taken out and installing a new one even if Moen offered to pay for the unit. We shouldn’t be paying a plumber hundreds of dollars to fix Moens bad product. We will rip this out and install a traditional valve from Kohler as well as replacing our Moen fixtures with Kohler after this.
Disconnected won’t reconnect
My valve disconnected for whatever reason. Tried to reconnect it, nothing works. Reset it, nothing, turned it off for 15 seconds. Nothing. Deleted the app and downloaded it again nothing. It gets to the second step of the connection process and just stalls there for hours and never moves past it. Less than a year old and it’s worthless. I’m a contractor in Florida, and I can promise you if this isn’t made right I will never recommend another moen product to another customer again
Controller disconnected
Over a month ago my controller disconnected and after several hours trying to reconnect and troubleshoot I finally called moen and they said there's an issue on their side with accounts and it cannot be fixed until some indefinite time. In the meantime my controller is factory reset and can't be configured since the app cannot connect. I do not recommend people buy a cloud based shower controller that cannot be set up or configured without a web based app because inevitable software updates and obsolescence will eventually break your system.
Completely unreliable software and hardware
Every time the app is updated I lose my connection to my shower controller and cannot establish a connection through the app.
For such an expensive piece of hardware the experience of owning is the worst I have ever had in my life. Avoid Moen at all costs.
Update introduced a bug regarding time zone
There’s no area in the app to “submit a bug” so unfortunately I have to write a negative review in the hopes that this bug gets attention from the dev team.
My time zone is central and the time displayed was fine until either yesterday or today where it’s stuck on eastern time.
I looked at my settings and sure enough, for some reason it changed itself to eastern. I never changed this.
I changed it back to central. Then I hard closed and relaunched the app, and it reverted back to eastern.
Well, guess I’m stuck with the wrong time displayed on my unit.
Also, my shower shuts off automatically after 10 or so minutes. Nowhere in my presets do I have this selected, but that’s “just a thing” I deal with.
