U by Moen Smart Shower

I have a iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18 and this app is completely useless. HomeKit cannot see nor connect to the device. It has constant wireless issues despite me turning off WPA three Wi-Fi six and 5 GHz the application refuses to connect to the android wireless network and HomeKit won’t connect and errors out every single time. I’m ready to return this device. Nothing should cost this much and not be compatible with Wi-Fi networks that have been around for over five years. Fortunately, we have an android device which had no issues connecting the unit. NOW I’m able use the iOS app.

Horrible app made by idiots

Bought the 4 head shower controller. You would think that spending that much you’d get a app the can actually connect to your shower. It’s been a few years and still cannot connect to our shower controller. Not sure if I’d ever buy another or recommend

All moen had to do with invest more money into developers to make sure the app works smooth. This is nothing more than a software/app development issue. This all works buggy, like they released a beta or alpha version. When it doesn’t work it’s bad. Someone in management needs to be fired

We heard moen was supposed to be best of the best for showers, so when we built our new house we wanted to have it. Turns out that the control unit we got may either be faulty or have old firmware and was told we need to connect it to the app to update it. It was constantly having the screen blank and even turning off to the point of needing to be reset. The unit cannot connect to home, cannot connect to our phone, and cannot have the wifi be accessed. This is a horrible experience and not at all what we expected from a new home shower. As a PhD computer scientist, I absolutely HATE that everything now has to be connected to wifi and the cloud. Nothing should be connected to the cloud because of reasons like this. There very easily could have been a port added to manually update the system, but they decided to cheap out and not have one to get all of your information. I will never recommend this product to anyone.

This app is lesx than expected. Cannot accept the terms and conditions on my iPhone. Have reinstalled the app numerous times. Very disappointing

I’ve been using this app for several years. I often find that when working with Alexa you have to deactivate and reinstall u by moen to get it to work. Look at all the negative reviews confirming the same… and y’all just say call us for troubleshooting… This reflects on the quality of your products, fix the app and stop making excuses, … maybe you won’t get these negative reviews, and maybe you would sell more of these systems.

I’m an IT professional with over 16 years of experience, I know what I’m talking about - Fix the app!!! For several weeks now I can’t connect it *back* to the app! Edit: I’ve contacted their support, and they were not able to help me. It looks like there’s a problem with their cloud servers - it keeps failing on Step 3 (Registering)

Zero online support. Enter a 4-6 digit pin … but it’s 8 and and now has a QR code that is of no help. Now my $900 shower valve doesn’t work at all. Please fix!

Just installed. The buttons work fine. The app will not connect or even do a thing. Really. Fix this. ASAP.
