I applied all steps in the app, but in the step “pay by card” it isn’t work. I saw 4 lines, first line “my name” I can write, but 2-3th lines is empty (isn’t work) 4th “3 cod” but I can’t use it (isn’t work). I don’t have Apple Pay, I can’t pay by card! What I should to do?

Tried for 3 days and keep getting locked out for 24 hours each time. This is not a good APP.

Do you have a US passport? Having issues with the NFC scan? If so, forget their instructions on closing the passport and scanning the front. The chip is located on the back cover inside. Didn’t have to remove my case but other bulky cases may need to be removed. Good lighting with no shadows is key for all photos. Last profile photo helps to have a plain white wall behind you like taking a passport photo. I picked the UK as my country to apply in and paid in £s with Apple Pay with no issue, using a Citi Visa credit card.

So many glitches. If camera didn’t take good picture in a short time, the app will stop working. I have to start from beginning. There are many steps need camera to take pictures. Every time I will start from beginning. I gave up after 3 times!

It will not read your biometric chip for the passport and 4 out of 5 chance it will not accept any given card. If you planned a trip (mine was ruined because of this) make sure to try eta first

Don’t bother trying to scan your passport. I couldn’t make it work. Just say ‘skip’ and the app simply asks you to verify information it took off the photo of your passport that you submitted a minute earlier. My ETA got approved in about 15 minutes!

It wouldn’t accept my credit card even after I confirmed payment each time in my banking app. It would spin for a couple of minutes, lock up, then say it was unable to process the payment. (Standard Mastercard.) Also wouldn’t read Passport chip. Amateur hour.

I had a hard time scanning the chip based on the directions on the app. I read other reviews that said to scan the inside back cover of your passport - that worked for me.

Thanks to some other helpful reviews, I was able to get the chip read to work on my USA passport by scanning the inside of the back cover. Otherwise no issues; appreciated that I could pay with ApplePay.

The chip reader didn’t work for me either, but the most frustrating part was not being able to pay because the lines for the credit card information wouldn’t load properly
