App only works if you have top of range device

In the features mention is made of all the fantastic features and that you can die so many things. Until you purchase the devices and then realise these expensive devices cannot be controlled with the app as they are the cheap version. Features on the app also keep on changing. You never know what you can do the day you switch it on.
