Can’t log in to my account in the app. No clear message why it errors. Can only use as Guest.

This is a ridiculous designed app. No way we can even become a member. And the checkin is a very very very very painful experience. Have done it 13 times before it got it. Even manages to read the photo passport incorrectly. It is full of design flaws, like the ridiculous country selection wheel which is impossible to scroll without swiping away the full window. The number of questions I got I never had before, like ‘ we need your return date’ which is not applicable as I used klm inbound. It is very very frustrating

This is slow ( the wheel of death) It's has less functional of other airline apps The change date etc method of beyond unacceptable in todays world ( writing emails ) it should all be processed with in app

EasyJet app is much easier and quicker to use/check in

Clunky. No auto navigation. Lists too long. Etc Irritating request for nicknames

I follow the check in process for 4 persons and all goes well. However, at the end it tells me (in very small letters) that the process was not successfully completed and it reverts me to the check in counter at the airport. This happened on the inbound flight as well and I thought that this was an incident. Not. This is frustrating.

This is one of the most awful apps I’ve had ever had the misfortune to use. If you sort reviews by the most recent, you’ll see that I’m not alone because there’s loads and loads of one star reviews. Clearly, Virgin haven’t user-tested properly and subsequent updates seem to have done absolutely nothing to improve the situation, which is even more alarming. It’s taken me over 30 minutes and six attempts to register and login. Now I’ve done this, it seems to login okay but the app is prone to crashing, it’s overly complex and quite frankly unintuitive and user unfriendly. What’s even more annoying is that the reward points you accumulate only last for a measly 12 months. Having flown to New York in July and planning a further visit to the US in August, it will mean I’ve lost all my points. So much for rewarding customer loyalty and why I’m now considering flying with someone else. On the part of the app where it asks for feedback and gives you a number of options (one of which is “other”), it gives you a pathetic 50 characters to explain your choice of rating. Virgin clearly aren’t interested in feedback. Virgin used to be a great brand putting customers first and making life easy for them. No longer. I could go on with further criticism but other users have picked a lot of this up in their reviews and, quite frankly, I have more important things to do in my life. Poor show Virgin.

Downloaded to allow me to manage my upcoming flight - regardless whether logged in or not, every time I try and load my flight details, it shuts the app down. Only way I can get access is via a browser. Same on both iOS and iPadOS.

I must apologise for leaving the one star review. It was my fault why the app wasn’t working. I was inputting the wrong password and that’s why I kept getting the error message. Sorry.
