“could not switch car”
Lack of using to turn climate on, lock or unlock car. Show more errors. Difficult to use when compare with Tesla app. New issue I see today (16Dec24) while I turn on the parking comfort and the app show climate off, it make me confused and need to go to check at the car again. Why do you don’t make the app easy to use?
My app kept logging and I need to constantly log in to access my car. The updates on the stability of the app doesn’t help. And I rarely can climatize my car via the app. Such a shame for such a premium car that has to be used with the app that is this unstable
Please add widget on Home Screen turn off/on for the car and temperature. Checking status of charging. Etc.
The driving journal not sync to my app from ex30 since 28 May and has no one from Volvo can help me.

First time open App always show “unable to sign in” need to restart. Plz fix.
I have downloaded the app and tried to register but I wasn't able to create the ID. The error message is "We seem to have lost the connection. Please try again."
I’m on 1.7.1 version of the EX30 app based in the UK. The app is simple and aesthetically pleasing. But there are some major UX issues here. I’ve been experiencing problems with the car and Volvo Cars support advised that I remove the vehicle from the mobile app, wait, and then reconnect again. In the app, Profile > Connected cars should give the option to remove the car but annoyingly, the ‘remove’ option isn’t available there. So I’m unable to fix the issue and the Volvo Cars UK stopped responding to my messages. Another issue is that every few weeks I get signed out from the app. The signin requires 2FA with a code via email!!! This means that every time I have to switch back to the email client, find the message, select, copy, switch back to the app, paste the OTP. I struggled to understand why he couldn’t be OTP via text message or simply use biometrics. This is the most annoying auth experience on an app that I regularly use. It is therefore extremely frustrating to me.
If only my app would connect / work with my EX30 instead of “Could not prepare app “.
