Watch to 5K will help you gradually work up towards running 5K in just 9 weeks. The running plan is for absolute beginners. It involves 3 runs a week, with a day of rest in between, and a different schedule for each of the 9 weeks. By the end of the program, you will be able to run 5km in under 30 minutes.
BUILT FOR THE APPLE WATCH
• Runs independently without the need for your iPhone.
• Watch face complications are included allowing you to monitor your progress and quickly launch the app.
PHONE COMPANION APP
• An iPhone companion app is included to allow you to track your progress.
• View a breakdown of your previous runs, including health data and run route.
• Achievements are awarded as you progress through the plan to celebrate milestones such as running continuously for 5 minutes or running for a certain distance.
APPLE HEALTH INTEGRATION
• Sessions are stored in Apple Health and count towards your activity goals.
• Watch to 5K tracks your route, distance, calories, average speed and heart rate so you can easily track your progress.
• Supports outdoors or indoor runs.
LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC WHILE YOU RUN
• Works alongside your preferred music player or podcast watch app, automatically ‘dipping’ the volumes so you can hear the instructions and updates on your progress.
• Signals the halfway point, so you know when to head home!
• Easy to follow countdown timer that uses sounds and haptics, so you know how long you’ve got left of each run.

Great way to start running, ultra simple
Just used this app to start running for the first time ever. A couple of months later I’m running 4K in 25 minutes on my way to 5k. Super clean, simple interface and use is great. Works fine with two Apple Watches on same iPhone.
Alas! Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a running app that didn’t require carrying my phone, and after trying a few others, I found this one through Reddit. It’s exactly what I needed – simple, intuitive, and works perfectly on my watch. I really appreciate how responsive the team is with updates. No fluff, just a solid app that does the job. Wishing you continued success!
Great way to start running
The simplicity of this app makes it a great way to start running without distractions of something overly complicated. -1 star because it only shows calories and there doesn’t appear to be a way to switch to Kj or follow my Apple Health/Fitness preferred energy display setting.
Motivating you with the essentials
A straight down the line app that does just what it should, recommended as a great starting point in your running journey, and I’m just under halfway finished!

I’m nearly done with Couch to 5K and this app has been the perfect companion. Simple and elegant UI, and most importantly I can leave my phone at home! Would recommend for any Apple Watch users looking to get running. The only improvement I need is for the developer to add a 5K->10k programme!
A beautifully simple, easy to use C25K app that doesn’t require bringing your phone
I hesitated to pay the 5.99 (AUD) cost but after reading the reviews and Reddit thread I did, and buy an I happy I did! This app is exactly what C25K is supposed to be - effective, easy to use, reliable. Highly recommend you buy this app before it gets bought out by one of the major players and becomes a subscription service!
