Great Until the Paywalls

I have used this app for years and have absolutely loved it. I think it is not only a great tool but speaks to a broader theme of the need to develop useful technology for women to understand their bodies and training. I was using the free version as I felt that was all I needed to understand my cycle patterns and how it impacts my training. Now, I find that the app is essentially useless unless you pay for the Pro version. I was disappointed by this as I don’t think that decision aligns with the movement of supporting all women in sport, regardless of income or background. I have recommended this app many time to high schoolers I coach but I can no longer ethically make a recommendation for a service they would have to pay for when free (albeit not athlete specific) alternatives do exist. I hope that WILD.AI will recognize the need for free, accessible tools for female athletes and remove the paywall on the hormone profile/macronutrient need/ injury risk graph and calendar features.

Great idea, not so great implementation

I got this app because I saw it available as an Oura ring integration and it looked interesting. I was excited to see personalized recommendations based on my cycle and Oura data (sleep, workouts, temperature, etc.) but after downloading the app and getting everything set up, it seems that the integration doesn’t really work. Every day I still have to manually check in even though I get a notification that my check in has automatically been completed with my Oura data. It’s just not useful to have to manually input my sleep duration, RHR, and all of the data from every workout when that information is already available in the Oura app. Love the idea of this app but the implementation just isn’t there 😔

I literally only use the calendar in this app, but now I can’t see it without paying for a subscription. I have years of data that I cannot even see.

I’m disappointed with the training plans on the app, specifically the perimenopause weight training plan. There is nothing specific to guide someone through weightlifting. Nothing specific about which muscle groups to train, reps ect. Just load up on carbs before and protein after training. Not sure what I’m paying for. Just something showing my “readiness score”. The app is a far cry from “Roar” and “Next Level”

Wild AI has validated the effects of shifting hormones for me and supported my love of (and the major importance of!) moving my body and honoring how needs change over the month. It’s an integral part of my morning routine between meditation and movement. Love it!

Wild.ai has transformed my training

Great idea but glitchy and not very customizable

I LOVE this idea of this app as a perimenopausal woman who has always been active. That being said- it’s tough to really log or customize your workouts; there are limited options to log it under if just entering it in and, if following one of their plans (which I was really excited about!) it won’t let you access the program if you’re training on a different day than it wants you to. Also-the readiness score isn’t super accurate. For instance, 5 days out from my period, and I have logged high fatigue and low energy for three days straight. Today my readiness score is an 89 and it’s says “You’re ready to train hard today!” Haha, not even close.

Absolutely love this app but recently it keeps logging me out of my account and I need to log in again.

Worked great until it didn’t. Won’t let me log in. Says my password is not correct so I went to reset. Says my email is not associated so I went to create a new account but that email is already registered. Loved the app until now. Lost all my data trying to delete and re-download. Not sure what other options are.

A necessity for EVERY female athlete

I’ve only been using this app for a little over a week and I’m disappointed I didn’t find it sooner! I’m currently running, swimming, cycling, and strength training. I especially love the calendar showing which phases I’m in, my readiness level, the RHR trend, and etc. I can then apply this data to my future training depending on where I’m at in the cycle. I feel like I finally have control over my body and performance. What a great concept.
