Extremely Glitchy
I’m paying monthly for Wondery+ and the app is dreadful. It’s extremely glitchy and difficult to navigate compared to other similar apps. Total overhaul needed, will be canceling subscription this month.
Crashes constantly
Great shows but app crashes constantly and show pages don’t load. Additionally you can’t create a play que so once an episode is over you have to manually go back into the app and select another show
Horrible App. Really lets service down
Horrendous app to use. Updates do not seem to be making it better. Extremely slow and buggy
Super glitchy
The podcasts on this app are great but especially when I pay for a plus subscription I expect an app that doesn’t crash 24/7 or take minutes to load when opened. It also deletes downloads regularly without asking and is just generally a disappointingly glitchy app.
Wearily Wondering When Wondery Will Work
Wondery malfunctions all the time… usually when one is at the denouement of a particularly gripping whodunnit. I’ve had it a few weeks and have had to delete the app, reboot the phone, update my IOS, shut down and restart at least 3 times. It’s gone again today so I’ve had enough. A podcast app that fails to consistently cast.
Infuriating
My podcast audio stops playing when I open another app. Not always, but sometimes. Sometimes it stops when my screen lock comes on. It’s unpredictable and requires me to restart the phone. This happens a lot. I looked it up on the internet and a lot of people seem to have this issue w Wondery.
Missing features
No playlist. Need one for roadtrip. I want download on WiFi before leaving. Too confusing to explain to partner how to use Now way to see what I’ve downloaded shows and episodes just a big list I normally use Overcast, but don’t have all the shows linked. Very frustrating, if playlist are there, I can’t find them. I’m an experienced podcast listener, from the iPod days.
Worst podcast app
I HATE this app. Burns battery like crazy, lags, inexplicably doesn’t load episodes when my other podcast apps do… the only reason I have it is my favorite podcasts have moved here for reasons unknown. The free version never works but it’s always pushing the Wondery plus version. Not interested in paying for this junk app.
Love the app, but has a lot of technical issues
My app constantly logs me out or doesn’t hold my place in my episodes. Also wish it had more true crime options.
