Not all users get the same experience. Some cannot connect to the lock away from home to let others in, some can use some locks whilst other locks continually drop off the Wi-Fi - even though that’s the closed lock and connection hub to the router

Having a Yale smart lock, you will Likely encounter many reliability issues, including it not connecting, not recognising fobs, needing to factory reset. As well as features that simply don’t work like Auto Unlock, you’ll reach you’re door, wait, open it manually and then when you’re in you’ll get a notification saying your door has auto unlocked or you’ll pull up in your car, the door will Auto Unlock but you don’t have time to get out of the car and get your things before it’s given up waiting for you and locked the door. The reliable issues create an anxiety that at some point you’re going to your front door and the issues will mean you can’t get back in your own house. This has in fact happened to me and was stood outside with shopping in the rain, deleting and redownloading the app, reconnecting, all the panic things you do when you’re locked out, only for it to suddenly start working again after 20 minutes of waiting. Some real work needs to be done on the whole system. When it works it’s great but when it doesn’t work, even if that’s 1 time out of 1000, you are trapped outside your own house.

Got this smart doorbell because Yale is always a good standard but sadly the app seems to be buggy even with the new iPhone and the wifi connection is strong turned off and on etc. it’s very slow when you open on the notifications on activity have to close down and reopen and eventually it works seems to need updating.

Having had the connexis l1 for 4 years now was working wonders fobs worked cards worked As soon installed new module that had to pay £5 postage for it now won’t recognise when the door is locked or unlocked So I have to use the fob to lock the door.. I’ve factory reset 4 times now and unless get a response in next day or two I’m done with these smart locks and going back to a key

Don’t buy Yale Connexis Lock. Is updated to latest firmware and bleeds batteries regularly. Bought this lock many years ago. App was terrible but lock was mechanically sturdy. Batteries lasted six months. Also worked with fobs and cards. Yale said app was no longer going to be supported and forced everyone to buy a bridge module. Fobs and cards were also no longer supported. The bridge module bleeds batteries requiring a change every week or so. Hundreds of pounds wasted buying and upgrading this disaster. Huge risk of being locked out if batteries die. Don’t risk your security and convenience. You will regret buying Yale digital locks. look elsewhere or forever be pestered by low battery bleeping noises. I wish I could reverse the forced upgrade!!

It works in the apps but is not intuitive and most impotently lacking an widget at the lock screen

It won’t let me create an account and says I don’t have one either so just stuck

Bought a video door camera - downloaded the app as instructed to setup and install the device, however I am unable to create an account. I have tried multiple times deleting the app reinstalling and turning my mobile on/off but no change. I will try again tomorrow if no success I will be returning the device for a refund!

This is great, no hassle with installation and no more lost keys 😀
