Their ads don't work. People don't respond no matter how fast you answer! They charge you a lot of money! They send you bad leads not related to your business! They charge you for services you didn't purchase!

This page has become a nightmare, small business are not able to grow since it charges you per message, now they charged me a lot of money for jobs that I don’t even get hired due to being small company. yelp was good but now it’s trash!!! I will be asking for my refunds but they probably won’t give back anything.

This app is a scam. I'm going to file a complaint with the consumer department for false advertising. It turns out that they recommended me the paid subscription to receive clients. But 2 months went by and I didn't receive any. They didn't charge me anything but then they took approximately $250 dollars from my account. Then I proceeded to close my account and cancel my subscription. and ask for a refund from my bank. My bank refunded me the money. But Yelp was smarter. After I had 2 months without receiving a client, it turns out that suddenly a client appeared writing to me through the Yelp platform. Asking me to give him an estimate. of price. And I very stupidly answered him. But then I realized that they were the same support from Yelp. For them to give that evidence to my bank so that they would return the money back which my bank believed. and now I lost my money. This company is a scam. Do not pay to advertise with them.

Great app

Aloha everyone! I have a surf business and decided to use yelp for my business. I can honestly tell you it’s a complete waste of time. Out of all the people that send me business yelp is the worst. For one, I get notifications saying people have called my business when I received no calls. Also, I received (apparently) over 1000 clicks but got ZERO business from them. In total I’ve paid about $2000 in yelp advertising over 2 campaigns to yielded nothing. To give perspective, other people have sent me $30k in revenue with the same prices I advertise. It’s a complete waste of money. Furthermore, I only have 5 star reviews and work very hard for my small business. Out of the 52 five star reviews I’ve earned this year 45 of them are flagged even though they are genuine and true. That’s also very deflating. The reps are very good at sales and make you feel comfortable but are unreachable once you purchase. If you are a business looking to download this app and looking to advertise go elsewhere. Trust me. In Hawai’i, it is a Mecca for sales and tourism and I can honestly tell you that yelp is the absolute worst scam out there!

Yelp has been a really great source for leads for my small floral business. Would highly recommend!

They agent set me up said I’ll get 30 day of free trial on 3rd day they charged my card 65$ had me on hold for 2 hours! I couldn’t change my business name which was Generated through my email account. I tried to change it 5 times they asked for reason , then they said on phone I have to have my correct business name at different platform I sent my google business page which reflect my business name it momentarily changed then went back!
