Zeel In-Home Massage Therapist

I’ve been using this app for over a year now and it has been a game changer. I book a massage once a month and the process is so easy and the massage therapists they vet are incredible and professional. I’ve had nothing but great experiences using this service and it’s great having the convenience of them coming to your home on your schedule. My husband got me a subscription as a gift and it’s honestly the best gift anyone has ever gotten me. Highly recommend!

Twice now the app has booked a massage for me when I selected my spouse at booking. I can only get a provider response about 1/4 attempts and the Live Chat feature in the help menu gives an error screen so you can’t contact anybody to fix it. The service is great when it functions correctly but it almost never does.

What is it with all these iPad apps that will not reorient to Landscape mode. iPads are very often in cases with keyboards that require Landscape. I can’t imagine it’s very hard to add a line of code since most mobile apps have it. Deleting the app since I’m not going to hold my iPad sideways to use it. And now I read that there is a gratuity automatically added. That’s not a gratuity. That’s just a jacked up way to charge more for the service. If it’s not optional it’s not a gratuity it’s part of the base price.

App is easy, efficient and accurate. Service is dependable, professional and high level. I've had several in home massages booked through Zeel and all were excellent. I can not recommend more highly.

If you live in a big city, a local spa is gonna be far cheaper. I used to use this app once a week for massages but because of the 50% price increase in just the last 2 years years are absurd. They blame it on inflation and Covid - enough with that nonsense. Local massges cost way less direct with masseuse or a spa.

[updated 2/16/24] app support responded to say same-day massages aren’t available in all areas. Zeel needs to change the byline for the app since that is the very thing they advertise. Unfortunately we’ll likely cancel our subscription. For over six months the app hasn’t allowed requesting same-day massages. The first date it shows in the scheduling page is the next calendar day. Zeel support is good at helping schedule via SMS to setup a same day massage, but that defeats the value of the whole app. Today Zeel support told me to delete the app, reinstall it and log back in. I followed these steps and it’s still an issue. The additional back-and-forth with SMS messages is enough to have me just get a refund for the current month and switch to LifeTime therapists are any of the nearby acupressure places. (Which all allow walk-ins)

I am unemployed and homeless, and been trying to cancel this for over a year. They make it really difficult to cancel your membership threatened to charge you a massive early termination fee and they will just randomly charge you a year after you’ve used their service for the monthly membership fee. I’m homeless I’m unemployed and they overdrew my account taking a membership for a service I couldn’t use in the first place. I have no home for them to come to. no one responds to customer service inquiries. This is basically a scam. Don’t sign up for the membership and I wouldn’t use them at all.

I used to love using zeel however the support service has gone down hill quickly over the past few months. The last straw was reaching out to support recently and they told me someone would get back to me ASAP and it’s been over a week. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I want to use this app, but after signing up my phone didn’t save the password. It’s just email and a unique password to Zeel. Super annoying they don’t use some kind of SSO to make it easier. I deleted it; nothing less relaxing than having to remember yet another password or reset it.
