Can’t get it to work
Very cool app but I could only get it to register about 2 out of 50-60 push-ups with my phone laying under my chest in different positions. Even the video it plays back looks like I’m doing heaps of push-ups but most don’t count no matter how low I press from.
Sit-ups work ok but you need to hold your phone with your chin in order for the phone not to slip and fall.
So far I can say the app works great to get in shape since you do way more than you ever targeted since it doesn’t really work.
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14.1
I have concerns...
I enjoy tracking my push-ups with this app but I have always been wary about the privacy protocols. For a start the app needs permissions to camera (obviously) and microphone or else it crashes. And since upgrade to ios14 I have found this app is pasting my clipboard somewhere (aka they are mining your meta data) and the app seems to have bypassed apple’s camera indicator. I hope that the developer becomes more transparent or even better stopped trying to syphon private information.
Great app
It’s a great app with being able to do sit-ups and push-ups in one app but a bit annoying to have to pay for the single arm program to get that and to remove ads but I am still getting ads after I’ve bought it
Awesome Motivator
For everyone having issues with the counter, it’s not just your iPhone. I’m on the latest iPhone 11 and having the same issue. It is annoying, but I don’t mind doing an extra one or two push ups. Personal trainers often trick you with this kind of thing too so it’s a little amusing.
Also, I can’t find the option to get rid of the adds because I’d happily pay for that!
I told myself I’d do a hundred push ups a day three years ago and I never did it. Now I’m clearing it easy because this thing motivates me to do it!
I’m also trying to add friends just so I can beat them! What an awesome idea!
Overall, it excels at what it is aimed at to do with such a simple idea.
Ads still show after you pay
Good app, I like the functionality and simplicity but even after you pay $15 for it, there are still lengthy ads..
Needs some improvement
Great idea, but it only recorded about 2 out of every 3 push-ups performed. I literally had to hit it with my chest to get it to register. If I had a loose singlet on it would change the effort required. Perhaps better suited to the iPad Pro with LIDAR?
Mariambanat
I my good to
Interferes with audio
Good as it requires you to go all the way down to the floor but the recent update interferes with my music and makes it significantly quieter and rattier, fix this please. Also disabling the voice doesnt work ive tried that
Helps me a lot
I think this app is amazing thanks for making this a thing!
Counter seems off
I stopped using this app as the counter(light sensor) would not accurately count my push ups and I would usually do 5 more than is counted. Please fix this so that I can come back to this app. Until then I’m going to stick to good old fashioned counting in my mind.
