Data harvesting app and whilst the features maybe useful, they don’t outweigh the gross invasion of ones privacy.

You take my data and want me to pay you too for basic transcription?

I have tried to use this to help we record interviews for my work. I had to abandon it quickly as it is so useless. Firstly it does not always make the 3 way call right so you have to hang up on your interviewee and ring them again. Not a great start. Then when you get it to work, it invariably drops the call after a 20 minutes or so. Admittedly it could have been an issue with my phone provider or the person I’m calling too, but after a few times I was not prepared to risk it. I mainly signed up with this service as they had machine translation at a good price. I tried it. I have no idea what the machine listened to, but I’m sure it was not my conversation. It was complete rubbish.

I have now been us by this for a week and it is brilliant. The only app I have come across that combines everything. 0.75 speed option (most offer only 0.5). Rewind / forward setting options on sliding scale to 3 secs both ways. Plus tagging and editing options throughout each recording. Cannot recommend it more highly. They also offer a transcription service and the ability to record incoming and outgoing calls neither of which I currently need but useful if that changes at any point.

I've used several recording apps. This is the easiest, the best recording sound and easy to archive. I'm surprised how much it picks up even with a lot of background noise. I use it to record all of my meetings and lectures and the transcription option is good as well

I realized after using this app once that it would not work for my needs. I tried to cancel, but the company has been totally non-responsive. Very unimpressed.

The app is nice. + The efficiency of the transcription is quite good, better than most services and the editing layout as well is actually better than the majority. - That said the pricing is not competitive, otter.ai for instance offers 1200 min for 8.99. The closest correlate here is 24.99 for 5 hours.And yet the phone calls are unlimited. I bought the pro upgrade thinking that it would let me use the machine in an unlimited way where its actually just a few organization and quality of life boost. I didnt read the fine print but the description and expectation of a pro version of the app is assumed to include some part of what the app is for.

I recommend this app for anybody that was looking for a office assistant inside your phone!

Something so simple is completely unusableperiod

I opened it for the first time this morning and did some testing and it is one app that meets my needs. I live in a retirement village and am part of a poetry corner with 5 members so far, with more wanting to join. We started to write poems with each member writing a stanza. But we want to record each stanza by the person that wrote it. I tested the app with breaks by pausing and there was a perfect continuation of the next recording as though it was not stopped or paused. We are recording because of the difficult time people have leaving their home, neighborhoods, getting rid of things etc moving into a retirement village. This is a grief they are going through. We hope we can help release some grief through our recordings and even interest others to join because people writing poetry can find it can help with grief and be healing with change. I also will use it to practice my Homilies/sermons because I always have to stop and write down the changes. I know I am rambling. But other apps want you to sign up and pay by the month or year etc. Or they just don’t work well. I think that is a deterrent to have others use the app. For me in time I am sure this app will not be free. I will delete the app if the monthly or annual fee is charged. I do not mind an up front SMALL charge to use the app but note small in caps. Any problems I have based on what is here now is to be expected but the quality is here now so it may be minor updates to improve the product. Please keep up the good work. Deacon Dan
