Suddenly putting your favorited pics behind a pay wall is just not done. Very bad.

I have been using 500px for many years, and server and request issues have been increasingly paralizing my app lately. For quite some time I find that more and more pictures are not rendered when discovering others’ work. With this latest big update first my old favourites disappeared, and while they are now back, the app has been slower than before this bigger update that also included some new layout and/or facelift. I didn’t need any of that but a fix for all the earlier speed issues and server errors etc. Now it is loading and waiting and failing all the time on a daily basis. I gave the app 3 stars out of my love for 500px over the years, but if I tried to get familiar with it starting today, I would give it maximum 2 stars or even uninstall it and move on with my life. Really disappointed to see how 500px just keeps declining and even more so when I see that the developers have been hard at work to increase speed and fix bugs. Where are all those fixes? My app is up-to-date.

This app has a long way to go. I have so many problems with this app now, that wouldn’t recommend to use it. It’s slow, it doesn’t update notifications across the application, you’ll get a black screen if you access your photo from the notification list. The list of all these minor errors is long, I simply don’t have time to write them all down here, sorry. It’s as the product owner has fallen asleep, or 500px forgot they have an app. Use the webpage instead, and you’ll have a better life!

500px har jeg brukt i snart 6 år og anbefales for alle med forkjærlighet for foto. Det er gratis og en lettvint måte å få publisert bildene med. Litt merkelig at ikke 500px tar betalt for dette da kvaliteten på bildene (pixler) ligger langt over hva feks facebook kan gi oss. 10 kr mnd har de aller fleste råd til..😊

Great app if it wasn’t for the constant crashing every 10 min. Latest version.

Hello, you must go through your code. When using the app in full screen it suddenly crash! Not good! There are a lot of versions since I considered it as stable.

The app looks great and it has a lot of nice content, but the upload on my iPhone 8 Plus doesn’t work. I tried the troubleshooting without success.
