Could be my favorite

Works like a charm. Only thing i would like to see is the possibility to add a WebDAV server.

As good as it gets

I use 8player as controller, a remote between my NAS and AV receiver. With DLNA a lot of functionality depends on the server and the player as well which can get problematic for controllers like 8player, but 8player keeps working well with both. I have tried a lot of DLNA controllers and the ones that were good disappeared. 8player is good and still gets updated once in a while. What I like most about it compared to others is that I can have 8player open on my iPad side by side with the app of my player. It’s also nice that it has an AppleTV app, although I don’t use that much. It has not the most beautiful interface but it serves it’s purpose. Navigation through content is responsive but could be a bit better designed. I recently found the options to change icons and background which makes it a bit less ugly. I once contacted support for what I thought was a bug (which was a bug in the Twonky server after all), their response was quick and kind. For now I’ll stick with this app. But I hope it will get a decent update on the interface. I use the pro version now and am very happy with it. Money well spend.

Subtitles?

How can I select subtitles for movies/series? I really love the beautiful interface and how easy the app is to use. It found my server with all my media and casting to my Chromecast works flawlesly. But I can not find where to select subs for my movies/series.

App vreet accu.

Werkt goed nas snel gevonden en speelt bijna alles af. Ik heb de gratis versie maar gebruikt onwijs veel accu. Hebben meer mensen hier last van?

Goed werkende app!

Als je de upgrade betaald krijg je daar geen spijt van! Je kan heerlijk over je eigen netwerk surfen en bijna alle muziek en filmpjes bekijken. Bij herinstallatie is opnieuw betalen niet nodig.

Works like I wanted!

Easy, fast and does not crash... thanks. So I bought the Pro. Only please make 2 options in the next update: 1. A delete file option on the server and local 2. And a zoom in option Other than that; Great Friendly grtz Mario (Holland)

No more sound!

After update there no more sound.

No sound

After the upgrade no more audio support for any of my mkv files.

Does it all

Does all as promised: fast, easy, with subtitles, from NAS or after downloading. Photos, movies. All I can wish for. Both on my iPad and on my iPhone. Thanks. Good apps exist.
