Acapella from PicPlayPost Reviews

It works just great 👍

This app is exactly what I have been looking for, a way to “duet” myself without having to be on social media 😄 There is only one feature I crave which I haven’t found yet, the option to adjust the reverb settings such as room size etc, and a way to adjust the echo/delay time and how many repetitions as it decays away. Other than these small things I find the feature set very rich and the app quite stable. I was super pleased to see that panning of tracks is a feature. Occasionally my recordings have gone slightly out of sync, maybe a small bug with my iphone12 mini, but a close down and restart of the app seems to fix this. Great app guyz 😃🤘

Completely and utterly useless!!!

I used to use this app all the time, I decided to reinstall it again after a few months and it won’t even let me log in! I’ve reset my password, deleted and reinstalled the app a few times and turned my phone on and off and I still can’t log in! If I use it as a guest it keeps trying to persuade me to buy the full version but why would I when the regular version is barely functional? An absolute joke!

Seems like you need old apple earphones ..?

JimBaarg on

In this day and age, I feel as though 80% of us now have Bluetooth Ear/headphones as all of the recent IPhones now need a separate adapter if you want to plug straight in..? Do you expect people to go out and buy things like old apple earphones and adapters. My question is this; How can someone who is fully up to date with technology use your app? (I tried using my new AirPods and it said there will be a delay, which there was so you can’t have any more than 1 video in time…?)

No ties, consistent planes are nice with other apps

I would recommend getting the premium as it enables you to have but it was 10 minutes freeRecording time if you’re gonna have a studio environment, That’s the whole point about this app, and subsequently it’s inside the teaching Siri how to talk back to the top instead of not understanding so yeah give it a go if you don’t like it

Using Apple? Don’t bother

Nickname? I'm in my thirties on

This app is an absolute nightmare now that iPads and iPhones don’t have headphone sockets. They’ve made the app near redundant.

Best App Ever!

JulieMVH on

This is the most fantastic music app in the world! It provides a nine track recording studio that you can use on your own or collaborate with others. Absolutely love it and would highly recommend to any amateur or professional musicians. 🎶

Couldn’t be without it

Annispanni on

I absolutely love this app. Perfect for making music, either with yourself, or with others in the Aca community (and it really is a community, of such kindhearted and talented people). I’ve become so reliant upon it to get my music making fix I can’t imagine life without it. Contrary to other reviews you don’t need a professional set up to use it. Just a way of hearing the music and recording yourself at the same time. Some people use basic phone headphones that have a little mic built into the cable. I did that for a while. Once I realised how much I loved the app I bought a small standalone mic meant for podcasts and YouTube videos, just to get slightly better sound quality. I plug it into a tiny splitter. I put my headphones into the other side of the splitter and then put the splitter into my iPhone. Very inexpensive set up, all components purchased on Amazon for under £80 and works a treat. I’ve been using that set up for 3 years now so have certainly got my money’s worth!

it said 7 day free trial but charged me

i tried to get the 7 day free trial but it charged me for the month instead. not happy

Crashes every time you try to change input/output settings

mattpol98 on

United Kingdom

Mostly a good app but not worth paying for, the premium features cause the app to crash even on new iPhones. Changing input/output settings causes it to crash, metronome causes a crash, bit of a con. Much better apps out there

How to turn off the Metronome

TTe57419@ on

United Kingdom

Can you please help? I can’t turn off the metronome after I completed the three parts of my music video. It downloads the track with metronome click, I can’t get rid of it. Please help 🙏🏻
