Information needs re-formatted

Jim@FTCVFD on

United States

I love the app and the information provided. One part of the info, the Details section, really needs to be reformatted. Number one thing is that each tidbit of info should be on its own line. Secondly, all of the info should be formatted the same way. The lower section has the date and time before the detail while the upper section has the date and time before the data. Thirdly, all of these items should be listed chronologically. When your awaken at 1:00am for a house fire and you see a jumbled mess of text and numbers, it’s very difficult to understand what has happened. Here is what I saw this morning: STA16 - Dispatch 12/04/24 00:56:19; STA16 - Dispatch 12/04/24 01:40:28; 34 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:23:37; 34 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:40:13; STA4 - Dispatch 12/04/24 00:57:59; STA4 - Dispatch 12/04/24 01:37:54; 162 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:16:06; 162 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:21:09; 164 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:12:27; 164 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:18:34; 161 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:11:46; 161 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:16:49; 43 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:12:43; 165 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:12:19; CH400 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:10:45; DC401 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:10:41; 60-22K - Enroute 12/04/24 00:58:09; 60-22K - On Scene 12/04/24 01:08:57; STA3 - Dispatch 12/04/24 01:05:04; 60-24 - Enroute 12/04/24 00:57:46; 60-24 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:04:20; 44 - Enroute 12/04/24 01:04:04; 60-3 - Enroute 12/04/24 00:57:01; 60-3 - On Scene 12/04/24 01:03:43 Call Details: 12/04/24 00:56:12 - HOUSE ON FIRE\\LOG CABIN; 12/04/24 00:59:41 - EVERYONE OUT OF HOUSE AT THIS TIME; 12/04/24 01:01:10 - 401 EN ROUTE POV; 12/04/24 01:01:26 - 1600 1604 TO STATION; 12/04/24 01:04:35 - PER 60-3 FLAMES SHOWING TRHOUGH ROOF; 12/04/24 01:10:18 - REMC MORGAN\\ETA 30-40 MINS; 12/04/24 01:11:21 - HOUSE NOW FULLY INVOLVED; 12/04/24 01:39:21 - PER 400 REQUESTING TANKER FROM STA4; 12/04/24 01:41:26 - 412 TO STATION This is the same data sorted: 12/4/2024 0:56 HOUSE ON FIRE\\LOG CABIN 12/4/2024 0:56 STA16 – Dispatch 12/4/2024 0:57 60-3 – Enroute 12/4/2024 0:57 60-24 – Enroute 12/4/2024 0:57 STA4 – Dispatch 12/4/2024 0:58 60-22K – Enroute 12/4/2024 0:59 EVERYONE OUT OF HOUSE AT THIS TIME 12/4/2024 1:01 401 EN ROUTE POV 12/4/2024 1:01 1600 1604 TO STATION 12/4/2024 1:03 60-3 - On Scene 12/4/2024 1:04 44 – Enroute 12/4/2024 1:04 60-24 - On Scene 12/4/2024 1:04 PER 60-3 FLAMES SHOWING TRHOUGH ROOF 12/4/2024 1:05 STA3 – Dispatch 12/4/2024 1:08 60-22K - On Scene 12/4/2024 1:10 REMC MORGAN\\ETA 30-40 MINS 12/4/2024 1:10 DC401

Stopped working

EMT_Gary on

United States

In the past three weeks, it has been wagging like crazy or completely freezes and then gets caught in a boot loop with just the active Alert logo and cannot use the app. I had to delete it and reinstall it three times now running iOS 18 on an iPhone 16 Pro Max

Great App, Notifications are Problematic though

dhaverlah on

United States

This app is great for the purpose it serves, however the repetitive notifications for the same event have gotten to be quite annoying and can quite honestly be a distraction. When responding to a call, I don’t need multiple notifications that reveal no new information. And it’s almost like the boy who cried wolf. Because the repetitive notifications offer no new information more often than not, I may miss important information assuming it’s a repeated alert.
