Reddit user went through 700 Reddit comments and collected ADHD pro-tips. And we created an app because love it.
u/beatadhd:
"So there was that awesome Reddit thread with a bunch of ADHD'ers sharing real tips that have changed their life.
I thought it was a great change from most advice on the internet which is written by non-ADHD'ers (and it's painfully obvious that it is).
I read through the 700+ comments and paraphrased, merged, and categorized all the tips.
The 131 tips are split into the following categories:
- General
- Cleaning
- Memory
- Time Blindness
- Distractions
- Getting Things Done
- Emotional Dysregulation
- Sleep
- Relationships
- Work
- School
- Executive Function
- Nutrition/Medication

I only experimented with this app for a few minutes, but I didn’t find much I could activate. At one point there was a slide to unlock item. I could not slide it with Double Tap and hold gesture. I did try to determine the place on the screen of that item then shut voiceover down touch and slide and bring voiceover up again. I had different content, but the only thing I found was referring to an app called pneumo-. My friend was looking at something called wisey.app, but what I saw didn’t sound like the content she was seeing. I didn’t wait any extended time to see what happened if I got a push notification. probably going to delete the app. gave it three stars because I really couldn’t evaluate the content. my only comment is that I think this could be useful to blind people with ADHD who use voiceover, so would encourage exploration of making it accessible. from reviews, I too, would like to see the ability to access the list of tips or whatever else is in the program without having to wait for them to be presented as push notifications.

Incredulously Free!
So eloquently spoken! Supremely beneficial! Hacks and affirmations coupled with thoughtful to do lists providing structure and clarity to what most recently was chaotic despair.
Love the insight!
The Lifehack suggestions must have been developed by actual ADHD Adults or even children (though many don’t actually believe the BEAUTIFUL ADHD Brain has a higher IQ than most) because we are always thinking. Overthinking, getting caught up in “hyperfocusing” too often in what we like not what we have intended to accomplish.
These LifeHacks though I wish they could be PDF’d are great for me. When I read one daily, which is where the ONLY issues comes for me with the app, I would like 1 to start the day and 1 immediately at the beginning of each day. Instead of having to wait a certain amount of hours.
Numo is too overwhelming! I read one and think to myself, “exactly” or “that’s just what I had been thinking, that might make it easier for me!”
This is just so helpful🙏

Had to Delete
There seems to be a bug that enlarges the text on my screen so that I can’t select buttons or settings. I couldn’t do anything so I had to delete the app off my iPhone
HELP! How do I turn off notifications??
I thought this app would be helpful. It was not. It gave me the exact same “life hack” tip EVERY. DAY. I first turned off notifications, then I deleted the app. I’m still getting notifications at 6PM daily with the SAME TIP EVERY DAY! It’s like I’m living the movie Groundhog Day! There’s no where within the app to contact support. I’m at my wit’s end.
Great
Works really well to help me think more positive and have tips for dealing with adhd. I’d love a feature to have these hacks or affirmations as wallpaper somehow.
ADHD Lifehacks
I like the individual tips every day. I would like double the amount of daily hacks. Having an assignment or exercise to complete would be great! But take less than 10 minutes.
Good idea, but flawed
It’s a cute app, some of the tips are useful and some very corny. However, it has one major flaw. The notifications are scheduled at the same time every day, which means it easily becomes rutinary noise in the sea of notifications some of us with adhd live in. If you don’t check them daily, you’ll miss on the tip/trick. It’s penalizing you for not opening the app daily while also telling you it’s ok to not perform every day. Quite the irony giving the audience!
