So many flaws
I purchased it hoping to have a indesign replacement on ipad. I’m curious and open to new workflow, however here I found too many flaws that heavily reduced my speed. Here are some of them:
1. Cannot scroll, pan, and zoom with mouse. Like, WHY? This is a dealbreaker guys.
2. Cannot disable hyphenation, where do u guys hide the button?
3. Erasing one bullet point affected the line above. Again WHY?
4. Snap feature is unreliable, sometimes the snap reference line picks up my desired target, but most of the time not. What it would snap to at one time is not the same with other times. And trust me I checked the preferences panel. Snapping here is almost nonexistent compared to Indesign.
5. Paragraph leading (spacing) adjustment unreliable. Too many times I find changing the leading points do not trigger any change whatsoever. I have to make new text box and type paragraphs manually every single time in order to be able to change the leading.
6. Bugs in doc preference panel. When I press ‘back’ after adjusting some doc parts, the panel overlaps each other. Text, sliders, toggles, and round adjuster all overlapped thus making it unreadable and unusable.
7. I have encountered more bugs and strange decisions than I can remember.
Please get your logic straight. This is not free app. However, I appreciate the existence of this app. It has the potential to be more than “adobe alternative”, but it’s just not there yet.
