i love this app, it helps me keep track of what medications im taking, learn new tips and advice from others, and make friends! overall i love this app! my only problem is that theres no dark mode, so im not able to use the app very often since i cant look at the screen that long due to my migraines being worse when my screens that bright, hopefully future updates can give us a dark mode soon since id love to be able to be on the app more!

If you identify as straight most likely not the app for you. The app is more for the 18-30 ish crowd who identify as anything but straight for the most part. Over 100 posts written and very few replies to my posts. Wrote over 700 replies to others post then attacked for my opinion or how I dealt with or felt in a certain situation or when dealing with a condition.

I’ve always loved comparing notes with fellow sufferers in this up and down thing called life!

Perhaps if professionals were included we could get up to date ideas for our medical condition ~ thank you , Lorri

I found Alike by accident and am I glad I did! I’ve been able to connect with other people dealing with the same conditions I have as well as review the treatments I’ve tried. I can speak candidly here, as I’m anonymous so no worries about who might read my very honest posts. I’ve been able to gather a community of people like me who really understand what having chronic conditions is like. I highly recommend this app for others who are looking for a tool that will help them feel connected and provide support and advice.

This app is a really good place to find people who are experiencing the same health issues as you. Everyone is so kind and supportive here. It’s also a great place to gain perspective on life and how many people are in the same situation. The Alike Devs team is always trying to come up with better ways to improve the app. They are great at asking Alike users input on ways to improve. I’m an Alike user and as a member of this community we welcome all walks of life. 🫶🏽

Please increase notification settings! Don’t send me a notification when someone also comments on a post I commented on. I prefer to only be notified about my own posts and comments. My notification drawer is filled with comments that aren’t replies to my content at all, and it get frustrating.

Can’t even try the app because it claims my emails don’t exist and won’t send the code to them

The app is very organized and I feel safe with the anonymous thing. You can’t even post your own picture for your profile. Which helps with my trust issues of people. And it is a very organized design and looks quite positive. And everyone seems to stay on topic. Which I think helps organize the thoughts better.

I came across this app on Instagram and honestly I was desperate for anything to make me feel better. It’s nice because sometimes just anonymously venting is good in it self but knowing I’m not alone helps a lot and it feels really good to help others with there stuggles, it really feels like we’re recovering together. I haven’t had any negative interactions everyone is so understanding and nice and there really is no judgement at all. I can speak about things I normally wouldn’t and people make me feel much better about it. There’s not a lot of opinions mostly just other people sharing tips and there experiences which I think is SO IMPORTANT!!! It is really inclusive and I 10/10 recommended
