The AmpliFi app simplifies the process of connecting and managing all of your Amplifi Wi-Fi devices, including: Alien, HD, Gamer’s Edition, Instant, and Meshpoint products.
The AmpliFi app offers the simplest way to add, monitor, configure, and upgrade your network. You’ll be able to:
- View key diagnostic information, like a connected devices summary, upload/download activity, your IP address, and real-time network speed data.
- Create an in-home guest network for visiting family and friends, or give them remote access to your local network via the AmpliFi Teleport VPN app.
- Control your family’s screen time with the ability to pause connected devices.

This app coupled with Starlink is flat smoking. There was no Internet here before.
I live in a rural area a private airstrip on a private property. There was no Internet here before the Starlink and this is a broadband broadcaster inside of my hanger Home flat rocks I’m getting speeds unheard of before.

WOW BOOM SHACK-LACKA Amazing
Reliable and long-lasting router
We bought and installed the amplifi router 3.5 years ago to replace the crappy router provided by Spectrum. It takes full advantage of the speed available and has no trouble handling a couple dozen WiFi devices and a half dozen Ethernet connections (TVs, security cameras, computers). I need to reboot the router occasionally if it starts dropping connections to laptops and tablets on WiFi. But that generally solves the issue unless it is actually a problem upstream with Spectrum. App seems fairly functional but I would like it if the reboot function was easier to get too - it seems to take me a few minutes to find it every time since it’s usually several months between times it is necessary. Mesh system works great to cover the garage and bedroom furthest from the main router.
Ouch, my eyes!
Absolutely loving the AMPLIFI alien router and the app is simple to use. Setup was a piece of cake and I dig having a separate iot vlan. Only issue I have is that there isn’t a dark mode for the app yet, but I’m sure the team is working on something cool for that soon. 😉
A way to waste your time
If you're setting up a new HD1 router, do not use this app. I can't speak for other Amplifi routers but I can say for the HD1's, the screens you get with this app are different than the iOS app and incorrect. You will end upo wasting all sorts of time restting the device time after time to no avail. You get to the image of the back of the device and that's as far as you can go. Use the iOS app.
Not as good as advertised
Having issues since the start. Speeds are not up like they say.

It works very well, 👌 I hope it will provide more new features in the not too distant future. Thankful🙏
