Won’t connect to my devices so i can’t change the language. Whenever I turn it on or press a button it speaks to me very loudly in Chinese which is getting frustrating very quickly

This app was on my phone less than 30 minutes. If it can’t remember the password it’s useless to me.

Does anyone know of a better app for Huawei routers? My B818-263 is a great router, but is seriously let down by this crappy app. All my previous router apps (Dlink, Netgear, Asus) we’re able to access the router remotely as well so I was able to check status and make changes to settings while away from home, but this app is useless in that respect. Come on Huawei, get with the times!!! 🤨

Three biggest gripes with this system; the app does not remember your password, despite checking the box to remember the password. The odd few times it might, else you always have to re-enter it. I’m the admin, I want to choose it it’s stored or not. Second; the system drops in performance a bit, so you have to go on the app, see that performance has dropped, then nav thru multiple menus to get to the WiFi signal to then click ‘remove interference’ so it changes channel - just do it! Of course I want the optimum channel, just do it!! Thirdly, we’re in a tall 3-level building. This was sold to me as getting the same performance upstairs, as I would down, there the modem is. Downstairs I get ~300mb/s. If I immediately go upstairs with nothing else connected, I get 60mb/s on a good day. I’d not have bothered with it, if I knew how it really performs. Even the box says it should do it no probs, but then in the app, it says to have the routers/repeaters no further than 10m apart. If they can only perform 10m apart, then what’s the point?!

When logging in the password NEVER saves even when hitting the remember password button and agreeing to the additional pop up window. EVERY time. I have a long password for security reasons and i curse HUAWEI every single time for making me waste my time when there is a remember password button that NEVER works

Doesn’t work at all , first time try to connect a device it just quits the app (tried so many times it fails), this app is so bad why such a big company and can’t event do a simple app properly, bad experience first time buy your product.

I have had to switch back to original HuaweiHi app as the newer version app does not work at all well for me. Old app works easily, lets me set and change things as i need. But it always wants me to “update” to the newer version lol.

App crashing since upgraded to latest version 12.0.3.315 - I am using iOS 15.2

App doesn’t work on apple phones

Any chance we can limit device data usage for a month or fix term? Then it gets disconnected. Instead of time limits.
