Sometimes flights don’t sync. I paid for the lifetime subscription years ago but the app is still filled with ads for all of App in the Air’s services. I’ve switched to Flighty.

The App you can’t fly without
I have been using this app for approx 2 years and it’s an absolute must for air travel. From automatic email parsing to live activity 2 hours before the flight it’s amazing. Gate changes, baggage , delays ….::you will be notified. Syncs with email , calendar and TripIt. I have used different apps over the years including flighty but this does it well . It needs a few bells abs whistles like a live tracker like flight radar etc. updates are frequent and customer support is amazing. I have purchased a lifetime subscription and don’t regret it.
Used to be great
There’s a few things I really like about app in the air - consistency of information makes traveling a lot easier, a single place with my travel history - and it’s pretty easy to use. Once they started making subscriptions a priority - the app’s now riddled with useless info, for subs and free users alike. Maybe worth it if you travel a lot and are looking for company 👀
Disappointed
I was hesitant to connect my Google account for security reasons and decided to delete my account. But when I press delete account, the app crashes. So I’ve been unable to delete anything.

Happy Long-Time User with Suggestion
When it comes to trip management apps, App in the Air is my go to app. For booking hotels and flights, it’s among the best I’ve seen on a mobile app in terms of user interface. However, with the latest update, the app has randomly locked up on the main booking page. Also, I’ve seen an occasional ‘failed to load results’ error when selecting a hotel from the search results list. As either issue happens rarely, it’s a minor matter that I’m sure they can correct in future updates. As a suggestion, I’d like to see the app detail what the ‘supports loyalty program’ when booking hotels. Does that really mean that one would get the same rates and rewards points as though the booking was made direct with the hotel brand? As it doesn’t ask for my hotel brand member number, I’m curious how that would work.
AVOID TRANSACTION WITHIN THIS APP
So I booked a hotel stay within this app. And they have charged my card. I screenshot the statement. Yet they said the cancelled the booking because they can’t verify my payment. Funny! It has been charged but they can’t verify. So, don’t waste your time. Now they told me they’re doing the refund within 1-7 days. Let’s see if that’s true. Such a waste of time. Avoid doing any transaction within this app.
