An annual subscription gives you real-time flight status updates, automated check-in and option to subscribe your family via SMS. Your first year subscription will be charged to your iTunes account once you confirm your purchase.
Price varies by region and is currently $29.99.
Your subscription will automatically renew each year at the current subscription rate, and this amount will be charged to your account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription year/month.
To manage your subscription or stop it from automatically renewing, simply go to Account Settings and turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before your renewal date. No refunds will be issued after the annual subscription fee has been charged. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited once a subscription is purchased.

Useful in the present, useful as a current support

Useful in many ways. And the support is excellent and very swift. I’ve used the app for a few years and am very happy with both its function and the support received for any glitches along the way

Full of ads, despite having paid for a subscription

I bought a lifetime subscription for this app several years ago. Unfortunately it has really gone downhill since, the developer is trying to generate incremental revenue by selling esims, flight bookings, travel insurance, passenger compensation for delayed flights, etc. I haven't noticed any new features in a long while but the ads just keep increasing, including particularly aggressive ones via push message. The auto check-in feature is not very useful as it doesn't let me add the boarding pass to apple wallet, so I don't find myself using it. I would recommend looking for an alternative.

Great App for frequent fliers

I’ve been using this app for many years and it’s a great place to arrange all your related travel details and documents. The app can even generate wallet boarding passes using your paper copy so you can use your phone or Apple Watch if required. The share a trip feature is also great as they receive updates of your flight progress and landing times.

My favourite travel companion App.

Live this App, I’ve got premium subscription and I’ve been using this for a while now. I’ve noticed some countries (Somalia and others) are missing from the achievements list, please if you could update they would be great.

Used to be great, updates have broke it

Used to be a great app but following recent updates it won’t find any flights that I have booked

Inaccurate

Flight was delayed. App didn’t tell me. I manually changed flight to delayed and it said flight had landed at destination. Awful.

Refused by airlines

Using this app I have found that it is NOT accepted with Ryanair or Jet2. Caused significant issues at airports. App In The Air need to liaise with airlines so they recognise the boarding pass information from this app rather than security being called!
