Too limited
The free version of the app does not offer a lot and it’s too expensive. I came back from android and the functionalities available compared to an iPhone are so much different. And cheaper. It’s not worth it.
Solid, but lacking
I’ve used app block on my android phone for well over a year now, so I decided to buck up and get it for my ipad too. This version is very trimmed down from what I’m used to on android. The BIGGEST gripe for me on the features lacking is the hourly limit block. There’s only a daily limit block. This is being sold for the same price as the android version with fewer features.
Everything has a price is this society
Wanted to get rid of my social media addiction, instead was met with countless paywalls. There is no company that truly cares for the betterment of people, especially not this one. Everything has the goal of profit.
Buggy
You can only use it halfway. It’s frustrating. If you want to block something and search for it, it freezes. The point is to be off your phone, but you spend extra time in this app trying to work around the bugs (or writing to customer service, for them to say, Sorry!! Not fixable!!)
Great until it stopped blocking
Was really helping me until the update. Now it rarely works! Don’t buy the annual membership like I did.
Good app fails to be perfect
This app was what I was looking for. Specifically, setting a time that apps were unavailable to me that were distracting. What makes this simple idea not perfect in its execution, is the year long subscription model. This should have a one time purchase and I will continue to not pay for the Premium. I think it’s a scummy business idea. Thank you for the free app.

I like it because it’s easy to use
Go to settings
Can be easily turned off in settings. Doesn’t work. The shortcuts solution they posted on their website would not let you open settings at all if you do it
Buggy
App is buggy. Sometimes blocks as intended and sometimes not. I paid for annual subscription and do not get the experience I had hoped for.
