Elevate your Arccos Experience with LINK:
The small, ultralight wearable allows Arccos players to capture their shot data without having to carry a phone on the course. LINK seamlessly pairs with the Arccos app and sensors. Worn on a player’s belt, waistband, or pocket, it tracks shots in real-time – including the club used and precise location – and automatically transfers the data to a player’s phone via Bluetooth, either during or after the round. This allows golfers to play the game their way, freeing them to keep their phone in a cart, bag, back pocket, or elsewhere.

I wish it was advertised or more prominently if it was advertised that you need at least 8 clubs in order for the tracking to start. A bit ridiculous that you can’t track with just one club whether it is an iron, wedge, putter, hybrid, etc. unless I am missing something you are forced to have 8 clubs.
Great idea…
If you want to spend every hole correcting your scores and shots by all means get this. I can’t believe this is a product anyone can recommend
Great tool
This is a really great tool for beginner golf course. I don’t know how long the clubs are. That on top of my clubs getting longer and longer every time I play I’d never be able to keep track without my Arco sensors 10 out of 10.
Usually works great, but please add more zoom out!
My biggest gripe with it so far is the screen limitation when viewing the hole. There are times when my ball goes past the green, or the Teebox is further back than the app thinks, but I’m unable to either add the shot, or edit the shot because it’s off screen and the app doesn’t let you move it or zoom out that much. It seems like a weird limitation.
This is very necessary if for some reason it thinks my first shot on a particular hole is a shot from the prior hole
Are you considering Arccos?
I started using Arccos when I purchased a new set of clubs in 2020.
Ping offered a promotion where the Arccos grips were paired with my new clubs and the first year of access to the Arccos service was free.
How does it work? A sensor is built into the butt of the handle of your grip. It is unassuming and does not change the look or feel of the grip. The sensor pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. The app offers a detailed map with GPS overlay of your position on course. Once you select a club for play, the app recognizes your club (sensor is light activated) and the sound of hitting the ball is registered by your phone/ watch / or the arccos “link” ( a wearable accessory that eliminates the need to carry your phone around the course). Once on the green, you walk to the pin location and hit a button on phone/ watch / or the arccos “link and this marks pin placement on the green. Once you hole your putt, you can review what positions and clubs were selected by the app to insure accuracy of what the app interpreted vs what you actually did.
The gps tracking and the ability of the software to give you distances (front, middle, back) of green are great, but many apps offer this as a feature. The real value comes after you’ve accumulated several rounds of data. Arccos then compiles your play and offers insights into strokes gained over every facet of your game. This allows for focused practice and for strategy changes on courses you frequently play.
They offer MCC or tour velvet grips. If you are happy with your current grips, they also have the Arccos sensor that will attach to the butt end of your grip. They also have super strike putter grips.
Cost is currently around $155 per year.
Again, many apps offer great GPS data for shot planning. The value comes from the insights in Strokes gained (or lost) and can help drill down on where you need to improve.
Does the job well!!
Was hesitant in purchasing on the start. However the app & sensors have worked great so far.
Like the fact that it doubles as a range finder!
I link it through an iPhone and it has missed a stroke or two, but it is a rarity.
Would most definitely recommend and would purchase again as well.
It’s ok
I give it three stars because it lacks of way to record penalty strokes. I have to check the score for each hole as soon as I’m finished with that hole to make sure it is accurate. Otherwise, when I get to the end, there are a lot of errors in the number of parts or number of, etc. I don’t have that many penalty strokes, but when I do have one, it would be nice to be able to add it without, a workaround.
Underwhelming
Had for a couple of months and use with my Apple Ultra. Not a round goes by without it missing shots. Today my not only stopped tracking shots, it wouldn’t follow to next hole and I had to use my iPhone. Still haven’t found anything better than Garmin app and s62 watch.
Could be so helpful…if it worked properly
Really want to love Arccos, but have only had problems syncing with my Apple Watch.
I’ve contacted support and get no solutions, only restart and reinstall, which do not fix the problem.
This would be my favorite golf app…if it worked as intended or at least support provided real solutions.
For $155 a year, Arccos is a huge disappointment and a waste of money.
Fantastic
Total game changer. My own personal caddie indeed. I went down 5 strokes before it finished my yardages. It gets close, and fast. Having it know the wind and the elevation, no math or second guessing. Amazing
