Elevate your Arccos Experience with LINK:
The small, ultralight wearable allows Arccos players to capture their shot data without having to carry a phone on the course. LINK seamlessly pairs with the Arccos app and sensors. Worn on a player’s belt, waistband, or pocket, it tracks shots in real-time – including the club used and precise location – and automatically transfers the data to a player’s phone via Bluetooth, either during or after the round. This allows golfers to play the game their way, freeing them to keep their phone in a cart, bag, back pocket, or elsewhere.

Losing ground to Shot Scope
Most golfers lose shots because they don’t understand their dispersion. They use the driver at the wrong time or aim their approach and tee shots too aggressively. Arccoss collects dispersion stats but doesn’t show this in a user friendly way. The app also doesn’t provide a way to measure the width of parts of the course. This is crucial in deciding when to drive. The Shot Scope MyStrategy feature allows golfers to understand their dispersion and make better decisions. Arccoss were the best but have now been over taken by Shot Scope.
Best GPS & Stat tracker in the world!
I’ve used GameGolf, Garmin & ShotScope, and Arccos is by far the best system out there, with your level stats.
The Caddie feature is great to plot rounds when I’m visiting courses I’ve never played. The GPS with maps is spot on to find layups and carry distances over trouble, and in practice mode I’m able to get elevation changes on distances, which is great to mark out in course planners etc.
But the Tour level stats is what really makes the investment into this product so good. I’m able to see how I perform against a handicap level I’m aiming for with the Strokes Gained metrics.
And with free access for all PGA Professionals, I can work with my coach on particular parts of my game that need improvement, through a specially designed Professionals Dashboard just for them. It’s such a good, unique feature and can and does benefits all levels of golfers.
I believe in the Arccos product so much I’ve become a global ambassador for them, and I’d NEVER put my name to something I don’t truly believe in!
Synchonisation
Still only about 80% working on sychronisation between iwatch and iphone. The watch tends to lag the phone in terms of recording shots and closing holes out. It then sticks on the watch in terms of hole progression. Once the watch gets stuck on a hole there is no easy way to get it to resychronise with the iphone……would be good if the watch could be forced to go onto the next hole dather than waiting to close out the hole itself.
App has a long way to go
Been using the app for a couple months now and it has some great features and insights but is lacking basic functionality. For example, want to see all your previous rounds at a particular course? Well, you can’t. No filter options for previous activities, just a chronological list. Garmin is great at this. You can view stats overall or by course. The Arccos course preview caddie is also very disappointing. Yes it’s nice that it suggests clubs and a strategy based on your club stats but I want a course preview too. I want to design my own strategy and drag markers to show me distances between points in the same way that other apps do. All you get is an incredibly basic graphic overlay on Google earth images that you can’t do anything with. So frustrating.
Give it a go, it may be good for you but not as good as the Garmin app in my view. It does have potential to be way better. Especially as they charge £100 a year for a subscription and Garmin is free with a device.
Arccos
Love this application so much info can’t wait to get a few rounds in
Refuse to map courses without updated satellite
Satellite imagery out of date for over 2 years so cannot use Arccos on my course and renders my membership as good as useless. Refusal to work around any satellite imagery but rivals like Garmin and Shotscope have no issues.
Outstanding
Have used this app and sensors for over a year now. Love it. My local course recently changed a hole and I submitted the change, which took effect immediately. The feedback you get from the statistics is amazing and provides crucial data. The only issue is when using an iron around the green for chip and run, that distance is used to give overall average distance.
Doesn’t display clearly on IPhone 12 mini
The display does not shrink to fit the iPhone mini screen size so there are sections of the data that are difficult to read. As a result I can’t read some of the stats as I cannot pinch to shrink or scroll to make it visible.
Very disappointed
I have today deleted this awful app, I was so hoping this would be great, I’ve played around 10 rounds using the phone, Apple Watch and the sensor. It’s all pretty rubbish missed lots of shots and found it difficult to adjust during play. I understand missing putts but every club has been missed at some point, on average I would say about 10 shots missed a round. The idea is great but the tech just does not work.
Arccos review
Sadly I’ve not been able to play too much at moment but I have had these for almost a year now and as some previous reviewers have mentioned, it has missed the odd shot.
Nothing is perfect in the world of apps and this is in my opinion one of the best apps on the market.
I have the screw on sensors and no issues at all, always check on taking club out and check on putting away and have never lost one. The stats are superb and informative.
I have used the garmin ct10 and they are also good but not as comprehensive as arccos.
Expensive membership? Yes! Worth it? Depends on what you want from an app and know where your game needs to improve. Nothing is free these days and arccos do carry out regular updates.
There are negatives to the app in so much as it can be fiddly at times in regard to adding or removing shots, penalties etc. this is more I think user error on my behalf, however I do struggle with it at times. I use my phone as I have found the link too unreliable and difficult keep attached without adding a lanyard. Some have mentioned placing on your shoelaces sand I have not tried this yet.
Hopefully getting an Apple Watch soon so will see how that goes.
Go for a 45 day trial, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed but if you are just cancel. 45 days is a good amount of time to make a informed decision on the product.
Just remember that some functions will not work until you have played at least 90 holes (5 games) .
